Yeah, I know I'm scraping the barrel now... :o But at least you get an earworm.

Still just keeping up the streaks, but yesterday I HATCHED A SNORLAX. That's No2, and I have 40 Snorlax candy.

I get it re grinding up Pikachus, it just feels wrong. I do it though, 'cos I'm heartless. Wink

Does anyone actually understsnd how the crappy scoreboard they flashed up on the livestream works at all?

I know the worldwide players have to get to gold to unlock the 'mystery challenge' and in the meantime, rack up 48 hours worth of bonuses (which the cynic in me think would have magically happened whether 1 or 1 billion pokemon were caught because otherwise, what's the point of the whole thing) but on the scoreboard I saw, it was rating the Grant Park type-caught pokemon by bronze, silver and gold too. So does only the gold type count? Or the one with themost catches? In which case, why bother with the medals rating at all? Does anyone know how many of these bonuses can be unlocked? 1? 3? Theoretically all?

Niantic have been caught changing the challenge scores to meet thresholds so think we'll get the bonus,

As expected, Lugia is released! And will be obtainable via raids from 2 moro. Articuno will be next, dont know when.

It depends on the requirements for a legendary Raid pass. In the trailer there was 48 hour countdown for a legendary Raid...

You know what, for such a highly anticipated event, it sure was a giant let down. Niantic's never-ending network problems are also annoying, especially considering that they want people to actually buddy up and work together on defeating pokemon.

Thanks for the info re the legendaries. Had popped back into Chester, hoping that with fewer people the signal might be less awful. It wasn't. Hope people aren't too disappointed tomorrow in the city.

So those who were attending the event in Chicago have all been given $100 pokecoins, their ticket money refunded and a legendary added to their pokedex. Do you think they'll do anything for all the people who went to Chester!? (I doubt it and how would you prove it?).

They should do something for those going to chester. It's not a distance for me, but there were people who had travelled a longer way and paid for hotels who couldn't connect. It's disappointing for the locals too since with the release of legendaries there will be loads who can't connect and might have to go elsewhere!!

What have you ladies got as your buddy Pokemon at the moment?

I'm walking Magikarp because I am desperate for Gyarados. The walking distance with the event has gone down to one candy every 0.3km with him! But I'm thinking maybe I should be switching it to something more worthwhile for the next two days, e.g Larvitar?

I'm walking Dratini. Currently at 101 candies! Desperately want a Dragonite.

There are currently two Legendary Raids near me - both Lugia and Articuno. But I'm at work until 5pm so can't catch either Sad

I really hope they'll repeat them.

I'm walking mareep, currently on 75 candies, might swap to larvitar, only about 50 so far with him. Did a mass evolve on Friday to clear some space for catching on Saturday. D'oh!!

I'm walking larvitar. He's been my buddy for a couple of weeks now so pleased I might actually make some headway with only 1.7km to walk. Disappointingly it's pissing down here and there's an Articuno at a gym near me. Can't decide whether to go out and get wet or not!? Guess I'm not as dedicated as I thought!
