It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

This is my team. I never have enough stardust to power up the ones I want to.

I've just starting playing and am completely addicted. I'm only level 15 but started playing when the grass event was on. My last few eggs hatched have been Pichu, Misdreavus, Tyrogue, Lickitung and Elekid - all 2 or 5km eggs.

I'm level 30 and took down a local level 10 gym earlier by myself... my bag of revives and potions took a big hit and the yellow team had taken it back ten minutes later oh well!
Looking forward to the explorer event this week. Is it better to walk 5km eggs or 3km do you think? Leaning towards the 5km as don't have a dragonair yet and need 25 candies... got three 10km eggs on a walk today so hopefully a dratini in there

Wreckingball25 Yeah, it's not worth taking down a Level 10 gym by yourself because you take a big hit in terms of revives and potions, and you rarely keep it because you don't have others with you to power it back up again and it's therefore an easy target to the other two teams.

I've been thinking... I got excited with the 4x faster candies thing thinking I can get my meganium... but what if I'm more strategic and walk a dratini so I can get a dragonite faster? It'll be more use for gyms and such. Same with chansey; I could get a Blissey for the gyms.

Hmm I shall have a ponder.

what yeah it was a massive hit but I had the baby asleep in the sling and was bobbing the whole time must have looked very odd. I got 5k bonus XP at the end!

Nice! Charmander is he only Gen 1 starter I don't have the final evolution for.

With Gen 2 I'm close to meganium, but nowhere near with the other two starters unfortunately.

They're not great in gyms the starter evolutions though so I'm not too bothered; I just want them for the dex! And of course meganium because it's my favourite Pokemon ever

I've not seen a Meganium yet! They seem popular though

Wreckingball25 I've only seen one! It was during the grass event right outside my house, but it ran away from me

There were loads of chikoritas though so I've managed to get a decent stock that my meganium is a realistic goal!

I haven't see anyone else with one apart from my DH, but they're not gym Pokemon so that's probably why.

I've had a meganium for weeks because our two closest parks have both been chikorita nests!

My top 12, though they're not necessarily my best fighters. That donphan goes proper berserk, mind! Espeon is utterly crap.

Oh yeah that'll be why! Is it the first time you evolve or second?

It goes chikorita > bayleef > meganium

Espeons are normally good against Blisseys.

I think I'll walk Charmander as I need heaps of candy. I have 12.
This event will hopefully be good for me as I need Golom and Kabutops. Also an Aerodactyl but guessing they'll still be rare so trying not to get my hopes up

Here are my highest CP - I've blanked out their names as I name them after the gyms they are in.

The two rydon are great against Blisseys - one has stone edge which is very effective. I use my jolteon a lot in battles as they are so quick.

Wow - we're level 32 & nothing over 2800CP. Hoping for an aerodactyl in this event as don't have one of those yet either
