It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

Soubriquet I used the regional hunter group and had no problems at all, got all 5 of the regionals over a few days. They've started doing Unown hunts too, so I got one the other night. Got a metal coat from a random spin the other day, so just need more Scyther candy and I can get Scizor, then I'll have all the evolution item ones. Still not seen hide nor hair of Larvitar/Pupitar/Tyranitar, so that's the only one I can't walk.

What's the hunter group on FB? Not heard of it before.

You sign up to it and apply to have someone hunt for you

You then give them access to your account and they get the Pokémon you've been looking for

I know but I've been a member for a few weeks now and there's been nothing but praises for the certified hunters

So I've changed my password to a temporary one ready and I'll change it again when I've got my account back

My issue isn't with whether or not they're trustworthy, it's the cheating aspect.

I suppose it is yes but with regional Pokémon, I don't have the money to jet abroad to where I need to go. This is the only way to fill my pokedex

I understand that. I won't be able to get all the regionals either, but it just wouldn't feel right to me to cheat to get them.

I don't get the fun of getting someone else to catch your Pokemon either. It seems so pointless. I wouldn't use even use a scanner. I think that's one of the reasons my pokemon are quite crappy compared to most of the other higher level players. 😂

Yeah my highest is a Rhydon at 1812. Im pretty chuffed at that!

But I've seen people with Pokemon like 2000 and even 3000+

My new go plus caught a cp 1400 magmar! Nearly out of red balls already though and only used it a couple of times. Maybe need to buy a bigger rucksack

It is technically cheating, same as maps, scanners and IV calculators. It was talked about on the last thread too. I would have no chance of catching the regionals myself so I have no problem with someone else doing it for me. I could have asked family who are going to New York and Australia(with Asia stopover) to get them for me. It's personal choice completely. I'm only Level 27 and have caught, hatched, walked and evolved all the others. I just wanted them to complete my Pokedex.

I used the service because the shadows in the Pokedex annoyed me. At least if there's a blank now I know it's for an unreleased legendary.

My highest Pokemon is a Vaporeon at 2436 CP, and I have four other Pokemon above 2000 CP too. I don't use maps, scanners etc so never cheated to get them.

Very excited about this new event! Walking chikorita so will finally get meganium, my favourite Pokemon ever

I've got ten Pokémon over 3000 - 5 gyrodos, 2 rhydon, 2 dragonite and a vaporean but all earned and powered up by my own fair hands. My highest CP is about 3200.
At level 36 and a half I think that's still a bit rubbish. I see much lower players with loads of beasts all completely powered up. It makes me suspicious.

i've kept a few Pokémon just under 3000 cso that I can use them and not get penalised when I prestige up my own teams gyms. I think there is a 500 point penalty if you use oversized Pokemon i.e. Those over 3000.

Oooh - good news on the event - I'm currently walking Chansey, and the next couple I want to walk are Kabuto (although there seems there should be a few more of those around) and Dragonair.

Especially as I've been stuck at home with a sick DS the last couple of days, so have managed nothing!

Right, that's it! I think the best way to find my go plus will be to order a new one!

I've looked all over the house and car several times. I've even been tidying up for visitors. The DCs are claiming innocence. I've found some other bits and pieces though, like the garage key under DS2's bed

Excited about the event. I've only ever seen one kabuto and it says there will be more of them. Currently walking chansey so hopefully I may get another blissey.

I need Aerodactyl, Kabutops and Tyranitar so I am hoping for one of those!

Geodudes and Omanytes are also very welcome for powering up purposes.

And I'm also walking Chikorita, 20 candy (60km) away from Meganium so hopefully I'll get that.

I wonder about my addiction level too tumpy I ran out of work to catch a Snorlax once. In a few years I'll probably look back and wonder what I was thinking!

I'm not sure whether to use this even to get more candy to power up, I will probably walk my larvitar or mareep though as soooooo far to go. Not too excited for rock Pokémon.

Kabuto is my latest buddy. 5km per candy all catches and reductions welcome! Especially as my two current ones are ancient and rubbish!

Go plus ordered. How long will it take for the original to turn up?
