It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

From Thursday I'll only need to walk 80k for my dragonite :)

How do people get 3k cp Pokemon? My best is eggecutor at 1800 ish but the slidey cp thing above it is nearly all the way to the end. Does the slidey thing change if you fill it up or can you go over it?

What level are you Handbag?

I'm level 31 and my highest is a little over 2800. Looking forward to going over 3000.

6,745 Pokémon caught and 1,030 kilometres walked and I finally got my Aerodactyl. Now all I have to do is walk the crap out of my Dratini during next week's event and I will finally have finished gen 1.

I'm level 25. I have 20 coins from gyms!

That's a great idea Wreckingball I'm going to work out which of my gen 1 has the most mileage to go and buddy them for this event. Suspect it'll be Charmander or Dratini.

I have two new pokestops, has anybody else seen any new ones?
There is now one at the building where I work and I can access it from my desk and another one at a pub/hotel close to work. It shows up on my nearby screen but it's on the other side of a small bay and even though it is only about 300 m as the crow flies, I would have to get into the car to get there if a shadow shows up there or borrow one of the boats. That's in addition to the two that are about 5 min walk away at a Scottish Heritage site.

HandbagCrab If you power a Pokemon up so the bar is to the very end, then when you go up a level the bar jumps back up too, so you can again power up your Pokemon another two or three times.

The higher the level, the higher potential for the pokemon's CP, but of course it depends on how good that Pokemon is.

No point putting stardust into and powering up a Pokemon that's anything less than 'caught my attention'.

Enjoyed the double xp event and am close to 35 now

Fell out a bit with the game and played less. Seemed I wasn't getting anything new! But last night I got a final larvitar for pupitar and tyranitair and then caught militank!

Now just ampharos and unown away from completing gen 2 minus regionals.

Hoping mareep as buddy will get me there this event, 32 km needed!

Does anyone have definitive information of whether the above Pokémon hatch from eggs?

I've definitely hatched Doduo and Manley from eggs. I haven't found Houndour anywhere yet.

Thanks whatto my dratini gets a good appraisal but my dragonair is less glowing. Might try for the extra 25 candies over the event by driving v.slowly everywhere!

Answering my own question, it seems that Duduo and Mankey no longer hatch, and Houndour never has. I think I've been working from a dodgy list.

Does anyone know for sure about the gen 2 starters? I know they didn't hatch, then they did over the Easter event - I heard they are now in 5 km eggs, can anyone confirm?

Hatched a Miltank and caught a Kabuto today, so quite happy!

There is something strangely relaxing about sorting your pokemon out at the end of a days catching.
I'm going to a talk today so I'm hoping there will be a pokestop there to keep me entertained. I can't catch anything from my house - it must be amazing to be able to.

I got cyndaquil from a 5k egg might have been an Easter egg though. I've caught one cp10 houndour - don't know if I'll be walking that one!

Just read the press release for the new event and it says a new hat will be available? I wonder which Pokemon they'll pick? I love my Magicarp hat.

I haven't really been playing. Last week I had to restart my daily streak 3 times. I have been walking a 2k egg for more than a week now :o

This weekend I am off to London. Any advice on the best nests? A dratini nest would be great.

Dratini don't nest but if you walk along the Thames you've got a decent chance of catching a couple. Are you going to cheat and use the map?

Spreadsheets are the easiest way to keep track.

My new po go plus has arrived. Old one still not turned up. Oh well, I'm ready to walk kabuto! Shame it arrived after my 11 mile run!

My highest pokemon is a CP2800 Gryados on level 30. I'm still blocked out of the gyms by higher level trainers and high CP mons.

Today I got enough candy for Muk. Then I hatched Growlithe and it came with enough candy for me to evolve Arcanine. Very happy as I hardly ever see those 2.
Only 9 left for my gen 1 dex and hoping this event will help with a few of those.

I've had a great day today! I hatched a second Phanphy so now have 30 out of the required 50 for final gen, hatched an Elekid so I have all the babies now, and caught a WONDER Militank! Usually the ones you catch aren't so great so I was well chuffed with that.

Elekid and Militank were both new for me so great to fill up my Pokedex some more

The new pokestops have come across from Ingress where people have been adding new portals and amending existing ones eg adding photos where they were missing.
