T'other thread was getting full and there's shinies and stuff!

I'm trying to send an image from my phone to my laptop but it's not cooperating. It's of a shiny Magikarp I caught this lunchtime. When it appeared it looked like a normal Flappy, then when I tapped on it there were stars and stuff and it was gold not orange.

I saw a Totodile earlier. I fed it a Razz Berry and chucked an Ultra Ball at it. It got out and fucked off. Harumph. That would've been 181 on the 'Dex.

Can anyone tell me if the 7 day streak has to be at the same pokestop and also what is a shiny magicarp good for ! Thanks!

So excited to have a red shiny gyarados but I think it seems to attract more attacks to a gym. Usually I would have a Pokémon in a gym for a few days or weeks but it only seems to last hours.

Doctor, do you store your phone images on a cloud and can you access said cloud from your laptop? All my images are uploaded to Google photos and I can access them from any device. Failing that email the image to yourself.

I want a shiny sooo bad! We had a cracking walk today and caught lots of Magicarp but they were all dull, dull, dull.

I caught a Totodile today! And hatched an Onix, which gave me enough candy to evolve it with a special item. Yay :)

It's any pokestop Chris and shiny Magicarp evolves into a red Gyarados.

I saw a red gyaridos today in a gym. Must have come from the special magicarp. I swear, people must have some secret farms full of magicarp judging by the amount of garydos there are everywhere.

Nothing exciting to report here. Nothing new caught and only a starmie hatchef from a 5k eggs.

And where the fuck are all dratinis? Aren't they water type?

I've got a totodile. I didn't even realise having a totodile was a thing!

Still no gyarados.

I caught a totodile in the park just before hte event started. Still no golden flappy fish here, but I did catch a Qwilfish today which was a new one for me. Forecast is still good for tomorrow so tempted to go magikarp hunting.

Dillite dratini is dragon type but confusingly seems to like hanging around near water. I totally need a dratini event!

Aha DameDeD, that's where I'm going wrong! My phone refuses to acknowledge the existence of the Bluetooth dongle that's winking merrily at me, it sees my 4G dongle but refuses to connect, and I can't find an option to transfer screenshots via USB, so your solution appears to be the only one I have. I'll set up Google Photos later when I have 4G.

So pissed off today.

7 day streak ended in my fourth sunstone. Hatched a fricking Natu. Braved the day-drinkers and delinquents in my nearest 'big town' with a lake for a shiny Karp - nothing. Barely even normal ones. Caught nothing that helps at all with the evolution of anything new, and of course, no exciting shadows either.

I am right fed up.

Got a sunstone on my 7 day streak then another one today.

Did a lucky egg yesterday newbies are Muk, Houndoom, Bellossom, Azumarill, Forretress and Donphan.

Caught 198 and seen 207. On 200,000 XP on level 30.

Desperate for a shiny!

I have 213 and seen 216 on my pokedex. One of the "seen" ones is a kangaskhan which is really bugging me as I will never actually get one unless I go to Australia!

Gen 2 progress....at 220 caught, 224 seen (regionals plus houndoom).
Currently have the candy for steelix, politoed and slowking but no special items to evolve them.
Also needing: houndoom, amaphoros, quiliva (have the candy but not a good one, waiting for 125), typhlosion, croconaw (have the candy but waiting for 125 for double evolve), feraligatr, unown, miltank, pupitar (have the candy, waiting for 125 for double evolve), and tyranitair.
Slow but sure progress, only one I can't walk to evolve is miltank!
Fingers crossed for some good items soon
