Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

Good Pokemoning today. No more babies but I evolved my first Venusaur and Weezing, and took back my local gym. Also found out how prestiging works, so I got another gym from L9 to L10 and stuck my fat tanky Chansey in at the bottom. Have fun taking that one down, Team Valor!

FYI, if you give your login to a friend in another region to get the mon from those regions, you need to leave enough time not using the game before or after to feasibly fly to that region. I haven't tried this but I've seen a lot of people say that's what they did to avoid a ban.

I don't really have a moral objection to doing this - if I had the opportunity I'd probably do it just to fill up my dex!

Managed a small walk to PIL this afternoon, hatched an igglybuff (my first!) And got the last couple charmanders for my charizard. Don't think he's the best in the world but he's got good moves

My 2k egg was my fourth Cleffa. Oh well. However, circumstances meant a family trip out to a place near water, and I was lucky enough to catch the four Magikarp I needed so I finally have a Gyarados. Yay! I miscounted when I was talking about my Kabuto candy, I now have 25, so still 25 candies and 125km to go.

I currently have 8 5km eggs to work through, so I'm crossing my fingers that I've got a Tangela and/or Togepi in there somewhere. The only others I'm missing are Magby, Snorlax and Aerodactyl which are all 10k eggs, so I could still be trying to get those when gen 2 is released. :)

No new babies for me and I've decided to save the rest of my single use incubators for any 10k eggs that I come across so slow going with my infinity incubator - a 2k on the go now.

I don't see medal progress until I get to gold and then I have a running total. I have to guess my progress.... rubbish!

I need a measly 7k XP to level up this evening, I've evolved everything I've got and took down a L7 gym, prestiged it up to help my team and now I'm nearly out of balls.

How do I get a quick 7k XP?

Shellder, if of the three icons at the bottom you click on the next one from the last medal you have it will tell you how much you have of what you need.

shellder don't you get a total if you clivk the medal? If you've got bronze click the dot at silver an dyou get a tally. Or similar if you're silver click the dot at gold.

Got me another baby and picked up another 10k egg! I've had more 10k eggs these last few weeks than ever before!

Left to buddy are dratini, kabuto and omanyte, which I've only ever caught 2 of. They should lat me until the summer!

Caught a Grimer on my way to work today - only the second one I've ever seen in the wild! Now only 3 candies short of a Muk.

I'd love a Grimer, I've never seen one in the wild and although I keep hoping for one from an egg it's just not happening. I evolved Kabuto last night (I've walking a long, long way for that) and now have Omanyte as my buddy. I'll be walking that one a long way too.

I'm currently buddying Geodude for a Golem. I've got my omanomanom already, and I hatched two Kabuto so got my Kabutops quite early in.

Still don't have a Lapras, Snorlax or a Lickitung. Got to get more candy for a Rapidash, Arcanine, Muk (I'm miles away from a Muk) and Machamp.

I'm hoping for a better event at some point soon so I can get many candies!

When I finally get my Kabutops I think I will start buddying for the second gen of those that I have two of that I don't already have a glut of candies, so Scyther, Onix and Porygon. I only have one Chansey so no rush there. :-)

I have my Snorlax as my buddy purely because I wanted him for so long and he's so cute.

Silly question but has anyone heard anything about when trading might be introduced?

No idea, spiderlight, but I hope it's soon. Hanging onto a bunch of stuff for DH in case he can trade for it, ie Onix and Ditto.
