Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

Congratulations, itsazoohere! That's amazing! I'm sorry it feels deflating, though. Maybe you need a new goal, like, get one of everything AND each has a CP greater than 1000? Or something equally impossible.

We're having a respectable snowstorm here so I gathered up my brand-new driver's license and drove down to a nearby parking lot to practice skidding. I'd just like to go on record as saying skidding is really, really fun. Also an excellent way to get the snow off the top of the car.

The reason this is pertinent is because it's also a fantastic way to rack up distance on Pokemon eggs! Ha! Screw walking for miles in a blizzard. I'm just gonna keep going down to the parking lot.

itsazoohere, maybe you need to find ways of raising money for foreign holidays so you can collect the overseas ones you're missing.

Or you could concentrate on powering up the ones you have and becoming the local gym mafiosa.

I caught a golduck today, which my son tells me is an evolution of .... No idea.

Do you all have a spare battery for playing PG? It eats my battery chronically.

More crap eggs today. Zubat Nidoran Goldeen charmander and sandshrew. I've hatched so many and no togepi, Cleffa or smoochum!

I've currently got my friend who lives in Panama trying to get me a Tauros...I'm not even sure they're there but she said her friend said they are.

I know a friend who did this and got a soft ban so I am expecting one. I just hope she catches the bloody thing! She's never played before and I haven't heard from her since last night..which means I can't log on today (too risky).

HRH i have a portable battery charger i take out with me. Bought it on Amazon for about £15. It can hold 2 full charges of my battery (S4 mini) and is good to top up when out hunting.

Soubriquet thanks for the update, i don't think i'd ever hatched an evolution so no impact here but useful to know.

No extra Pokemon today as not been out yet but will do later (although not a long session).

spiderlight I'm playing on an iPhone 5s and haven't had the glitchy problems recently. Only problem is Pokemon jumping out of balls all the time, but that's not the phones fault. Do we know if charmanders etc are around all day today? Just need a couple more!

And yes I have a battery pack too. Wouldn't be able to play without it as my phone won't hold a charge for more than 1/2 hour if I am playing pokemon go. My battery charger is 5200. Am even thinking of getting another for when that one runs down. That's one thing this game has done- knackered my phone battery.

cantstand I have a friend in Oz at the moment and wondered about getting her to catch my a kangastan. But have decided that kind of defeats the point of the game- the fun is in me catching the Pokemon, not just having them.

That's true tumpy but it's annoying, over there they're as common as Mr Mimes (who I see multiple times a day) so if I went to these places I'd catch several easy...but I have no plans on going there this year and I'm a completist and it's bugging me!
I know someone in Aus and I guess someone will travel to Asia at some point...but we'll see if she manages this first.

Interesting to see that your only bronzes are Magikarp and dragon type, Longtime. I wonder if anyone has managed to get a gold for the Dragon types.

I've had lots of Magikarp muddling but not the right size!

Look what I caught. It's IVs are between 49% worst and 65% best, which is only slightly worse than my best bulbsaur so I'm seriously thinking about levelling this one!

Just don't know whether to level it up or try evolving this instead. The bulbasaur has better IVs according to pokeassist and would obv use less stardust. But I don't have the candy yet to evolve it fully so would have to walk it for ages. And then the move set might not be as good.

In a localish park today I caught a Mankey, the first I've seen since the end of August. Two minutes later I caught another one. I decided I wasn't going to chuck balls at everything like I usually do but ignore the rubbish and target things I need. I caught 6 Bulbasaur, 6 Squirtle, 5 Charmander and 2 Magikarp.

A 5km egg hatched a Krabby. A fucking Krabby. A 2km egg yielded a Bulbasaur, which pleased me. What didn't please is that it only brought 4 candies with it.
