Hello, I hadn't ventured onto this section until I saw a reference to pokemon threads yesterday.

I've just seen a pikachu shadow on a nearby poke stop, but it's out of range from home. I'm looking forward to filling that gap in my pokedex. I saw a shadow once, months ago and that's been it.

I'm on level 25 and ripe for a mass evolution session. I'm holding on to see if a Christmas event will bring extra bonuses for it. I haven't done much evolving since the end of the double XP event which got me on to L25. Just the occasional thing like evees which are helpful for gym battling.

Squee! I went off to catch some bulbasaurs tonight and also managed to bag a tiny pikachu with a Christmas hat! It was only after I got home that I saw the update.

I did give in and evolve my machamp, golem and blastoise tonight though.

Why is Kim Kardashian now on the new festive login screen? I preferred the more androgynous lines of the guy/gal on the Halloween one.

Just had to restart the app to show the new evolutions like PickAChew has shown, but no more numbers on the pokedex yet. Maybe you have to find one of them for the new numbers to show.

Got my festive Pikachu in bed! Mine has updated to show the pre-evolutions; DD1 will be pleased as she's been watching the cartoon and keeps talking to me about them.

Same for me soupforbrains. I'm probably fully rural rather than semi-rural and the pokeball situation has to be carefully managed. There is one gym where I have mobile connection, the few others that are around here my connection cuts out.
No festive Pikachus here yet.

Same here soup. I live in a village and we do have a couple of stops, but very little mobile signal at the only gym so it usually flakes out after one very glitchy battle.

I have never seen anything other than cannon fodder showing up here.

I'm rural but I visit my mother twice a week and she lives next to a park where I can hit a loop of six pokestops in five minutes. When I started playing the loop took me seven minutes but I'm a faster walker now. I walk for an hour twice a week and that gives me enough balls except when they up the spawn rate.

The local to me gym has to be taken down one battle at a time because there's nothing worse than spending the time to carefully select the team of six to get "error" after the first battle. Some days I can't get a signal there at all, other days I have to stand in the sweet spot.

Me too soup, no pokestops for a mile. Need to try to get some new eggs today ad I want baby pokemon!

So glad I'm not alone! It's infuriating though!! My sisters work has 2 pokestops and one of my friends houses has a pokestop right outside. But no. Not me. Nearest pokestop is MILES away. I do my best to gather when I'm in town but it's never quite enough.

I get excited when my pokeballs reach double figures.
I had some time in Edinburgh a few weeks ago and just walked up and down Princess Street a few times, stocking up on balls and razzberries.

We had a santa hat pikachu on the way to school. After 5 razz berries and ultra balls fucker poofed. Poor dd cried. So I walked the long way home and caught that fucker at a nearby pokestop. And then I took down a gym, which in 2 minutes it took me to walk home became red again, and then I hatched a pikachu! So a good morning overall. Dd will be sad that it wasn't her though.
