I wanted double candy too as I am only 8 candies off 100 for Dragonite. Mind you my Dragonair is shite so I really need 125. I wanted to walk Kabuto too but will have to do it the hard way. I need 40 candies for Kabuto :(

I have enough coins from gym wins to buy one incubator. I might as well use them I guess. I wont spend real money.

My son wants a pikachu in a hat so the pressure is on! Not wowed by this if that's all we are getting for Christmas - guess the last few events have spoiled us

I caught two in less than an hour and I am not in the city so there must be alot.

Looking at my nearby Pokémon 6 of the 9 are Eevvees, I'm wondering if this is the Christmas equivalent of the Cubone Halloween invasion?!

Is the daily bonus still a thing? Also, apparently if you evolve a Pikachu in a hat you get a Raichu, In. A. Hat!!!!!!!!!!!

I might change my buddy to Pikachu then to get enough candy for Raichu in a a hat

I have a load of eggs from before the announcement. Will any of them be the new pokemon, or are they determined when you catch tgem?

All I've had for weeks straight is 5ks. 2ks are as rare as 10 for me now so these fools better hatch from 5's too

I think that all eggs are predetermined so you have to wade through what you have before you have a chance, which means that people will buy more incubators.

I would have if there had been some more XP, candie or stardust involved.

Well my chips are well and truly pissed on I'm dissatisfied with the announcement to say the least. Not even a double XP? Maybe they're saving it as a Christmas surprise?

I still have hope a further Christmas event will come. For a week from the 20th...double candy, XP. I bloody hope so!

I have been out for a walk around the village seeing as I have a lot of eggs to shift. There was nothing in little hats but I caught a rhinothing which gives me enough candy for an evolution, an Abra and a Voltorb. It also put me to the top of my Fitbit friends ranking which made me feel nearly as good as catching the rhino.

DontStopMovinToTheSClubBeat, my DD will be pleased with extra Eevees as she's still after two of the first gen evolutions. :)

No festive Pikachus on my nearby screen, which is probably just as well as I'm the only one home with the kids at the moment so can't exactly dash out if they're in bed. LOL!

Looking at the pokedex, it seems to be prevolutions out first. Found elekid, smoochum, magby & cleffa as well as the ones mentioned.

Nowt but the usual vermin, here.

I'm happy but a bit disappointed if I'm honest. Will need to do some walking but 2km eggs are few and far between!
