Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

So will you get double the double when you use a lucky egg from tomorrow, 2000 per evolve? If so I'm gonna bite and buy some poke balls.

Just parked up and, rarely near here, had a 4G signal. Caught a Ratbastard, then a Very Angry Vulva appeared. I tapped on it and the game froze. By the time I closed then rebooted it had gone. Harumph.

During the event I'm hoping to do 2 Lucky Egg mass evolves depending on how hunting goes after the first session. Double XP and Stardust is good imo. I wonder if that means you get 1400 Stardust for first catch of the day... I'm hoping to be at Level 25 by the end of the event, and to have 110/149 on the Pokedex. That means catching, hatching or evolving 11 Pokemon over the next week or so.

I managed over 70 evolves last egg, just need to catch some pidgies now...

We're off out in a minute, dd is happy to walk every evening which is lovely. We've also found a Magmar nest, caught a 1489 one last night and have had about 6 in the last 2 evenings.

Doctor there's only 142 to be had in the uk at this point, not 149....

I think it will be double the double but someone needs to try first and be sure. I suppose we will know the daily bonus tomorrow.

I've finished walking my eggxecute and moved on to bulbassaur. I'm on 90 candy but want 124 to get a half decent one.

And I've caught two abras today which is a miracle. Also need 124 candy and am on 85. Slowly but surely.

Good day for me! Evolved up to a Victreebell and a Magneton, both new to my Dex Smile now buddying a Bulbasaur to evolve my first Ivysaur.

Some of those 149 aren't available in Europe.

If you are walking a pokemon then swap to another do you only lose the small bit you might have walked with them or all the candies you have got whilst walking? I have been too worried to swap mid walk and always evolve once I have enough but i have a lucky egg and want to gather as much as possible before using it.

Yes you do lose the distance you've travelled if you swap buddies, so ideally you'd always swap immediately after snagging a candy.

What on earth did you do to that Vulva, to make it very angry, doctor? Is that a new pokemon?

You won't get 4K per evolve (unless it's a new Pokemon): only 2k (4 x 500).

I did a mass evolve on Sunday but will save up and do another one at the end of this event. Set 4 incubators going for stardust too.

My powered up beast of a Victreebell is now feeble, this change has really hammered it. My Alakazam has rocketed up so not all is lost. If they want diversity in gyms then I'm surprised that the Eeveelutions have done so well out of the change, Vaporeon is in every gym here.

I finally caught a Kabuto, a cruddy one but still it's another one for the dex. Now on 133 caught and the only one I can't evolve to complete the regional dex is Lapras.

Thanks for posting game info and Silph road links, interesting reading. I look forward to the first report of a Ditto.

He put us on 2 gyms no battling

Just got back with another 6 Magmars, practically wading through them!

I caught my second Lapras in a Waitrose car park t'other day, so glad i stayed in the car!

Has anyone had an issue with their pokemon today. I went on mine this morning and some of my pokemon cp has gone up and some have gone down considerably it has passed me right off 789 wortortle down to 564. Argggggghhhhh

They have been rebalanced so some cp went up and some down

Thanks for the link I was so proud of that wortortle I was looking forward to that being a blastoise. Also I had a bell sprout at 578 that's gone down too so no 1600 victreebell at the moment. Oh well at least some have gone up I suppose.
