Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

Overall I'm quite happy RE CP shift but fuming about a Nidorina I judged was worth evolving YESTERDAY and now wasn't AT ALL and I'm down 25 candy and I was close to 100 and I already had a Nidorina

Wow re CP. My strongest pokemon became even stronger, but further down it's very random, some became stronger, some weaker. What a mess.

Are they doing the double XP events to distract us from their cock-ups? Speed limit, now random CP rejuggle... Hmmm....

Yay! A Pokemon thread! Any tips for easy coast/Aberdeen area? Caught a mr mine the other day in kittybrewster, but nothing exciting today as have been in house all day with little one with a fever

So I guess that means the CP caps have changed. The Pokemon go radio podcast I listen to often has moaned about certain Pokemon who are super strong in the games having lower CPs whereas eggcecutor CP, for example, is over the top in GO. I guess they've re-considered this. Gangars for one has gone up considerably and he was mentioned as needing a bigger CP in the podcast...

Oh there's more than one podcast MummyStep but the one I particularly like is called Pokemon Go Radio. Search Pokemon Go and a few will come up!

mummystep I've only hunted around Holburn and union Street when up. I know an avid pokemon hunter from Aberdeen who might have tips!

Gosh! That's a bit of a shake up. Unfortunately I couldnt screen shot before the app shut down on me and I had to restart so I dont know what my CPs were before they changed it all (wish i'd had a record of them) I do know my gyarados, vaporean, flareon and snorlax have all gone up. Bit annoyed about all the wasted stardust on my victreebel, arcanine and dewgong though. Rhydon has jumped loads (upwards) so if it actually stops raining it will be interesting to see how he fares in a gym. oh, hitmonchan has just showed up on my sightings! going to have to dash out!

Dillite2 if you still have some wounded pokemon, with this update / CP adjustment they should all be revived and ready to battle now!

Wish I'd taken a screen shot. My top Vaporeon has definitely shot up but otherwise I can just tell there has been a rejig but can't tell exactly what.

Have they altered spawn sites or times? I usually get something popping up around my house every 10 minutes or so but the past couple of days there's been barely anything.

Glad I found this thread as my Abra went from 40CP to 140CP and I was so confused! Nothing else hugely noticeable for me x

My Victreebell was really great against Vaporeons before this update, but now Victreebell went down in CP, whereas Vaporeons went up, so that strategy probably won't work anymore.

Jolteon Vaporeon and flareon also jumped up a bit

I wonder what happens to pokemon in gyms, are they changing their CP whilst on duty?

I can't view any gyms at the moment - keep getting "can't connect to server", and such like.

Very annoyed about the CP jiggle. My 100% IV Victreebel was a beast to put in gyms. Now he's lost 400+ CP. they say they're done it to make battling fairer but they've increased the max CP of Dragonites, Vaporeon, Snorlax and Gyrados, the gyms are already full of those so how will this help?

I checked a couple of gyms this evening and they have stayed the the same CP in the gym stack (but changed in my bag). Guess they will update properly when they get home.

Got my hitmonchan! And whilst I was out also noticed that a local friendly gym only needed 1000 prestige for a place, so battled twice and made myself a place. Because the pokemon in the gym havent changed their Cp, but mine have mostly increased I was able to put my best pokemon (gayarados now) in and for once he's not bottom of the pecking order so hopefully he should last at least a couple of days in there! Also caught a slowpoke too, so that will help towards my slowbro. Worthwhile half an hour out, and it has finally stopped raining!
