I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

No you don't need stardust to evolve but you do if you are powering pokemon up before evolving them.

I don't think that it is at all fair that we can only take 6 pokemon into a level 10 pokemon gym. Especially when that gym is full of 2000+ beasts.

Ah ok! I only evolve for numbers and xp not for keeping so cp irrelevant, so I have tonnes of stardust

What do you means it's not fair? It takes a lot of work to build a gym up - only fair it should take a lot of battles to take it down.

Hey all, newbie here. Only started playing for myself Thursday last week when DD wanted to test out the theory of getting a Pikachu if you refuse the offers, so my first in the Pokedex was Pikachu. I'm now level 15 with 56 in the Pokedex and just hatched a Pickachu from possibly a 2k egg on the way to the shops, so rather chuffed with that, even though it's only 36CP. :)

I've been working for the kids for the past few weeks to stock up from Pokestops on my bus trips for them, but now I'm having to switch between three of us, although I'm giving myself priority for the mo.

Thanks, FrogTime. Husband and kids are a bit miffed that I now have two Pikachus and they still have none. However, between them they have a ton that I'd like to catch, so they're still way ahead of me, lot of catching up to do. :)

I'm jealous starlight, that's on my wishlist.

Charmeleon, charizard
Golem
Nidoqueen
Nidoking
Gengar
Arcanine
Dragonair, dragonite

And a load of one's on their own.....magmar, lapras, snorlax and tangela to name a few!

I've never seen a Magmar wild but I've hatched 2 from 10k eggs. They are cool.

Amazing catching day here. Lots of charmander, thanks to the nest changes, a 1679CP Wild Nidoqueen, tentacruel, blastoise, and am only 12 Magicarp away from 400 now. Happy days.

Moreover i am still holding 8 gyms. I just spent a little on an incubator today because I was doing lots of walking and wanted to get one of my 10km eggs moving but tomorrow when I cash in I shall be stocking up on an 8 bag off lucky eggs. Not far now to L26.

Had exeggcute as my buddy but hatched an exeeggcute from a 5k egg so now have 65 exeggcute candies! Don't you just hate it when that happens.

Now got Meowth as my buddy, only need to walk 12km and I will have enough candies to evolve.

Caught an Electrobuzz and Diglett in the wild today wooohoo!! Still collecting 30 coins every day I think i need to join more gyms because I don't seem to be getting kicked out now they are at higher levels. Agree that they should tell us which gym we're at!!!

Caught a Dragonair sat on my sofa too, currently have 40 dratini candies, might start naming them the km needed to walk like somebody upthread!

Bum that same thing happened to me and machop. I've hatched two since walking mine for ages in order to evolve it.
I'm now walking my nidoran and haven't hatched any. I bet I will hatch a couple as soon as I evolve one.

I've no idea what my avatar has been on this evening but she is wandering around all over the place . She is half way through a second 5K egg.

I cashed out 7 gyms this morning, then lost a few then fought a few and am currently holding 8. Other than that it was an uneventful Pokémon day.

Tomorrow I'm going to buy my first incubator.

He needs to do 51km....so close!

bum and nutella I had that too! Have been walking a diglett as my buddy for ages. Had walked 47km and nearly got enough to evolve and i went and got one in a 5 k egg with a load of candies! Maybe I should try that with pikachu?! Haven't been walking him because I only have the 1 and wouldn't want to evolve him.

I walked my Pikachu right to evolve level and it didn work. I still only have one.

Yeah it didn't happen to my pikachu either. I've also walked it and wasn't planning to evolve it as it was my only one - but the pokedex frustration got the better of me so I did evolve it a couple of weeks ago.

I added two more to the Pokedex yesterday. I caught a wild Exeggcute half an hour before another hatched from a 5k egg. An hour or so later I caught a wild CP16 Nidorino.

Just got enough candy for duodo evolve. And then Dodrio appeared nearby!
Dratini ran. Damn

Planning a charmander nest tomorrow. I want Charizard.

The catching or hatching something I'm ready to evolve happens to me a lot, too.

Friendly level 8 gym at the cathedral, this morning, so ds1 and I took advantage. Sadly couldn't get to the one at the castle, which was the same!

I'm at a football match today. My team colour matches my pokemon team so I'm enjoying taking the gyms.
