I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

Re pokedex. There are 151 but 3 of them are regional and not available in U.K. There are another 6 which have never been found by anyone so the belief is that they haven't been released so that makes it 142

Let me know if it works nutella I didnt collect the coins as I wasnt sure what it would do but I may put myself in a gym and collect and change the date and see what happens too.

Here you all are. Inexplicably, my phones will now support it enough to allow me to catch Pokemon again. I'm far more excited about that than I should be.

Just bought a portable battery too so I can get more walking done without having to go home to recharge.

It shows the green thing as if you could collect but when you try it it just flashes and nothing happened. It is a shame as I was making all sorts of naughty plans!

Cashed in on 4 this morning and got into another one after but have to wait 19 hrs and see what happens. Boo.

Local gym level 9. Prestige 47500. 9 Pokemon in there. This is what happened on the last one.

How much do I need to increase it to in order to stick my guy in? 50? 52?

I took over a gym today..It is one that has a lot of people play and battle on it all the time..I just popped mine in on the way to baby group and collected 10 coins..Don't imagine it will last 24 hours but nice to be amongst the big players.

I am doing another 2k egg Queen will see but forgot to turn pokemon on for school run should hatch later if I remember.

It doesnt work. I tried changing the date on my phone and collecting the coins for the next day. It wont let you collect them.

Triple bugger queen. I was hoping it was only me and someone would find a way to make it work.

Had a nice little lunchtime walk and got into another 2 gyms that don't change hands too often due to being a bit inaccessible. Hope it was worth the effort for long term gain. Holding 8 now with a reserve of 500 coins for a bag of lucky eggs and now building up the reserve for lots of incubators; I have a stash of 5 and 10k eggs to work through. I have to hatch a Chansey.

I managed a drive by gym entry today. I saw a gym ahead on the bus with a space free and it passed it closely and slowly enough to get it.

I've done that before too queen. One gym by a statue on the way to work - usually the right colour although I've only managed to drop in twice before.

Hatched my 10km egg today and it was a pinsir. Gutted.

My 5k egg hatched into a Venonat. Also gutted. The place is already alive with them.

Just done my mass evolve sesh - managed 77k XP. nothing new but a few better CPs than I had. Now on level 23 but very aware of the ever increasing xp per level! 125k seems a long way off

5km eggs just finished too, ekans, voltorb and goldeen. ekans is good for candy although I'm still way off for arbok but the others are rubbish

Thanks everyone, I think i'm just going to cruise now until the next Gen, keep building up my big ones - you can only power them up a couple of times each level which is a pain. The gyms are massive here and mostly blue (my team) so it's getting harder now. Also finding higher CP in the wild (still get 10cp crap though) but eggs are still hatching lower CP pokemon, so they have good stats but pretty much get binned as they would take too much to power up - seems to be a flaw and pokestops not spinning drives me nuts! And how close you have to be to a gym too get into it to fight! Remind me why I play this game again??? lol

Well my mass evolve session gave me 50k xp- how on earth do you guys manage more? I am now on level 24, which is great. I also added some new pokemon- a nidoking, a weepinbell, a dragonair (just how pretty is it?) And a primape popped up as soon as I changed levels.

Why have they stopped giving stardust for evolving pokemon?

Less happy with the 5k Voltorb I got. I could easily catch about 5-10 a day without leaving the sofa.

64000 in my evolve session tonight. Quite pleased. Now to bin lots so I've more candies for next time. Im 3.2 km away from enough candy for Dodrio. And have found a new charmander nest despite the migration!
Gen 2 doesn't appeal at all. Hoping to hit 142 before then!
Now 10% of the way through 28!
