I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

You've done well with 78. Mine slows considerably and freezes at time s. Im happy with 50 ish but don't have that to evolve right now. Damn rural life! 21 km away from Dodrio, at 134:136 and the 2 I didn't catch are dragonite and Charizard from gyms!

I've now only got 20 to evolve so need to collect a lot of crap before my next egg.

I've got enough candy to evolve Pikachu now but promised DD I won't do it without her so will have to wait until she's home.

I reached level 23 this morning..To be honest I felt a bit depressing so far away from 24 and no lucky eggs.

I'm down to 12 dead and 8 damaged. Things are looking up. Still in 3 gyms so have 120 coins. I will upgrade bag this time as I've thrown away loads of potions recently and it has now come back to bite me in the arse.

I hadn't played for a while but on a trip to france this weekend I opened it up and came across a random gym in the middle of the Normandy countryside!

Managed to put one of my pokemon in as we drove past and it's now been in there 3 days and counting!

I'm hoping it's going to be an ongoing source of coins, it really was in the absolute middle of nowhere.

i have a terrible gym situation. There is only one I can reliably take and keep for a day or so. the other two here and spread out and a long walk between each. but if I go to town I can maybe get in one but will be kicked out within 20 minutes.

It is so annoying.

Ive not been able to do any pokemon'ing today but managed to cash out 7 of the 9 gyms that I was holding yesterday. 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰

I wonder if the lack of pokevision has made people stop playing.

I've given up bothering with the ones in town which are all full of ginormous Pokémon. They are mostly level 10 and I think the top few are spoofers.

I just have to keep thinking of excuses to take meandering drives in the countryside..... 🚙 🤔

It's the other way around for me, so rarely have sufficient service to play out here in the back of beyond that I have to make up reasons to go into town. Life is cruel!

Poor reception can be a good thing..

I've held one gym for weeks , it's in a church in the middle of nowhere where I don't think there is any 3G reception. I used a BT wifi hotspot and had to stand in a very precise spot. Unfortuanately I put in a lovely 2019 gyrados with great stats that I'd like to come home. I'm missing him 😭

Got my last survey credit needed on the bus into town today so have 4 New incubators. Got 6 eggs cooking, 1 10km and 5 5km ones. Really hoping for at least 1 new pokemon amongst the 6 of them!

Nothing new catch wise whilst out and about, seems to be an influx of jigglypuff everywhere so am close to evolving a second wigglytuff but that's hardly exciting.

Id like a snorlax now

My one and only weedy snorlax was found in the wild at the BP garage on the west bound side of the A46. Warwick bypass.

Oh my goodness - I have just lost the gym I held for nearly 5 weeks!

Has anyone else noticed a lot more high level gyms since the last update. It's definitely made levelling up easier. I need a couple of free hours to drive around taking and boosting gyms. Just not enough free time!

I've got koffing as my buddy, one more candy for a wheezing, then dd really wants a gengar so I'm going to switch to a ghastly, need 100 and only have 67 to evolve a haunter

I also lost a gym I was in for 5 weeks today ! Lapras has come home !

Lilaclily are you already plotting when to take it back?! I feel quite miffed, even though it was only a 1300CP Pokemon I had left there.

Definitely all the gyms have become higher since the update. I'm on 3 and don't seem to be able to get into any more. In London tomorrow so let's see what happens.

My dead list is down to 8 and no injured. I swear the game knows I need revives so it doesn't give me any.

My 5k egg gave me a Mankey which I also have loads off. Will I ever get a good one?

bumwad it's Google opinion credits. A reward system on android, you download the app and it sends you a survey every now and again (I usually get about 4 or 5 per week) and I've had between 6p and 35p per survey...had £8 so far

Nutella - the central London gyms are higher too - still changing hands a lot but regularly sitting at level 8-10 for consecutive hours.

Can't seem to get on atm. There are rings where Pokemon should be and my buddy isn't showing up. Anyone else have problems?

Just spent over half an hour sat in my car battling my way through a friendly gym to claim a place. It's on level 8 now so hoping I will be in it for a while.

Told DH I was nipping out for some chocolate....
