I'm a couple of thousand XP from level 20. Once there I might just grind up all the rubbish for candies and evolve the best ones.

Are you checking IVs as well as CP before evolving?

I don't personally cause I have never really understood Ivs and what they tell you 😳

This gym thing is ridiculous. Today we drove past one and I made a point of not clicking on it cause I could see a weepbinell thingy I don't have - only to find out it's now showing as a shadow as well. So annoying. Whoever had this idea???

I don't understand the shadow thing anyway- does it matter? Puzzled.

Walked 5 miles today, levelled up to 19 and my Bulbasaur buddy got enough candy to go onto the next evolution list - 61 candidates so next sunny day i have free I'll have a session with my (last) lucky egg. (Actually i suppose i could evolve anywhere, but thought it would be fun in the park.)

Got up to level 27 tonight. 132 caught 134 seen due to the stupid shadows from gyms. Couldn't finish evolving Pidgeys so got mode to do. Three new- Golem, marowak and primeape!

Have enough candy to evolve Gloom now. it has taken ages to get to 100 candies.

With the Gloom it is 953cp and the appraisal says it is a breathtaking pokemon.

The other option is to evolve the other 720 Oddish. But this Oddish is appraised as unlikely to make headway and not impressive.

I may just evolve the Gloom I have.

so glad I wasn't going mad about the new shadows appearing in my pokedex. I'm sure I'd remeber running into a lapras, and growlith evolution. Very annoying.

I'm on holiday in the US and not only can I hit two pokestops from my hotel room I have already caught a tauros. I'd told the kids (they are adults, I haven't abandoned them ) I wasn't coming home until I got one. Fortunately one showed up at the hotel lobby when we were checking in. He is a tiddler but never mind.

Has anyone had a regional hatch? I was looking at that rankedboost page and there's more chance of hatching a regional in %% than some other pokemon that i have hatched.

Nothing much happening here, catching & hatching the usual rubbish, managed to evolve another Dragonite and power him up to 3086, trying to take 10 gyms a day to get the 5000 xp i'm on 289427/500000 on level 31 so it does help, it also means I can buy 2 incubators every 3 days. Still no Aerodactyl

Well I've made it to 27 this morning.
Left my phone on for the night and km went up from 0.82 to 0.94 so not too exciting.
Feel rather demotivated to get 250k for this level.

Found you all, I have a new phone on order and can't wait to start playing again.

Just been out and caught the last couple of horsea needed for seadra so that's one more for the pokedex.
Annoyingly it's 101 caught, 113 seen now with the daft shadows. Especially the charizard shadow as I've only ever caught 2 charmander

The shadows from gyms is stupid! It says seen 1 caught 0.

That should only appear if you see it in the wild and miss it.

You cant be told you saw one in a gym and haven't caught it as it was never yours to catch.

Pokemon caught engaged in a sex act.

Woke up very, very early due to jet lag but was quite happy as I can hit 4 pokestops without getting out of bed and I get a steady stream of Pokémon. I've over 200 poke balls and am slowly junking the regular ones for greats and ultras.

Redd. Being able to hold gyms is definitely the way to go. I've been investing my pokecoins into lucky eggs rather than incubators which is probably why I don't have too many humongous ones. I just find it a bit disheartening to buy an incubator and hatch weedles and the like. 😂 I walk a lot so I get through quite a few eggs anyway. I've never bought an incubator and hatched 187 eggs.
I seem to be holding three gyms long term and often get a few more however it takes a quite a bit of driving and time to take 9 or 10. My local gyms are all held by Blue and I'm almost certain they top two players spoof. There aren't as obvious as before but they still suspiciously quickly take back ones that I get in very remote locations. E.g. Ones in the middle of NT gardens in the evening. 🙁 So I just leave them to it and go further a field.

Hopefully I'll get a bigger tauros 😋

PokemonGo catch at least 10 Tauros so you can trade with us when it comes in.

Just got 55000xp from an evolve session.

Have this baby now. Not great CP but appraisal says he is a wonder and breathtaking. Equal attack and defence capabilities.

Hatched my first Lickitung today, was ridiculously excited and DD cracked up when she saw it hatch.

I've lost interest since FastPokeMap went down. It really made the game more fun as we would head out to locations to find specific Pokemon.

My little person has been dashing around all over the neighbourhood while my phone is sat on the desk, but now she's calmed down.

I have a Tauros, I caught it in the US this summer (on the Atlantic City boardwalk) but it was the only one I saw in the whole two weeks I was out there. If I hadn't caught one while I was there I think I'd have been seriously pissed off.

Today I caught a Rhydon on the school run, I do seem to be seeing more rare types around now. I don't know if it's because I'm at a higher level or Niantic are making them easier to find to keep people playing.

Niantic Tweaked the security and FastPokeMap can't get the data now. Or yet - from twitter I believe they are working on it.
