I've finally caved in and hired Tom to fetch me some axes and saws so I've got a nice clean farm now. I drew the line at setting my alarm for every 2 hours through the night though so I'm not completely mad addicted.

Sorry, we were receiving so many requests from non MNers that I made it invite only.

And, tbh, out of quite a large lot of recent MNer joiners, only 1 is joining in with the chat, so fingers burnt from MN Quiche I'm afraid - we're down to 24 because we ousted so many non-joiners (think we must be in the double digits now, sadly).

That being said, if someone is chatting on here and wants to join us and is willing to join in on the chatting, then we'd welcome them. We don't want lurkers though.

But we chat so much on HayDay that quite a few don't even come on here anymore.

Request sent! I don't know if I'll constantly be chatting (I'm supposed to be doing a PGCE!) but will be an 'active member'. Currently searching for jam. And being disturbed by the yokel in the town.

We were trying to work out whether members were playing but not chatting or filling crates, or whether they were no longer playing.
If the machines appear to be working on a farm does that mean the person is still playing?

Welcome Quimby (I am GrassyBottom). Members play at different times of the day, I play mainly during the day so may not see you.
We chat and trade and fill each others crates.

Secret - no it doesn't mean they are still playing - you see a picture of what was happening the last time they logged in.

I deleted a whole bunch of followers recently who didn't have a derelict or upgraded train line showing on their farm. That meant they hadn't opened their farm since the update which introduced the town. Yet their farms STILL had things chugging away.

The only REAL way of telling is to pay attention to what lvl they are, and what their farm looks like.

You can take a screen shot and use it as a comparison.

In all honesty though, does it matter if they occasionally pop onto their farm? If they're not participating in the neighbourhood then they're taking a place that someone else could have. Removing them from the neighbourhood doesn't prevent them from playing HayDay.

I feel like a villian for starting/encouraging mass "execution".

I never really go on this thread (although this is where i originally heard about hay day and got addicted all those months ago..) and i don't chat on the neighbourhood that much enough but i've clocked the eviction campaign and i don't wanna get evicted please!
