I've finally caved in and hired Tom to fetch me some axes and saws so I've got a nice clean farm now. I drew the line at setting my alarm for every 2 hours through the night though so I'm not completely mad addicted.

Don't you do trading in your neighbourhood? Ours has evolved lots of chat shortcuts and there is almost always someone who can sell you what you need.

I am in my dc's neighbourhood but they do little chatting except to snark at each other and rob each other of axes if one leaves the room.
They are also on much lower levels than me so no use for soup and the like.
