Oh dear a FAINT positive test??? Does that mean she's getting it or got it or had it?? I thought it was just negative or positive. Does that mean you'll all get it? Sorry soo many questions. Annoying to be on a planned holiday AND isolating, you'll have to take an extra week Grin But great that you can indulge your Domestic goddess to the max!!! Have you got a bread machine?

B. Prune/plum/ground linseeds/lemon/ fresh ginger/ prune juice smoothie.
L.Spelt toast with usual spreads and salad. Chocolate pieces.
S, Pasta green pea/haricot bean sauce ( a sort of vegan mac n cheese)

Oh I just made a lovely dip/sauce with a whole bunch of basil ( just the leaves if the stalks are solid, like mine were!) Tabsp. dried basil, garlic clove, large spring onion, half a cup of tofu yoghurt blended with olive oil and 1\3 a tin of white beans with their juice and tamari to taste.

@ppeatfruit I probably didn't explain very well 😬 A positive lateral flow means you should go and get a PCR , which we did and her PCR was positive so she definitely has it. Is mildly ill with it so far, and has been fully isolating in our bedroom since we got back. We have to isolate (her from us, and us from everyone else) until late next week. Fingers crossed none of the rest of us get it
That basil dip sounds delicious. No bread maker, just my hands!

Oh I see ( I think [ grin] ) I've only had 10 swab\PCR ? tests and one blood test all negative)
. Get in some turmeric and organic lemons and garlic, blend it with a little manuka honey and filtered water , take 3 times a day (it knocks the symptoms of Cov on the head quickly) Also burn Ravensara and gargle with Ttree.

I can recommend the above, it got me through Cov very quickly with no side effects at all.

B1: Berry and soya milk/yogurt smoothie
B2: MacFuffin (toasted muffin, moving mountains sausage patty, plastic cheese slice, avocado and reggae sauce 😋)
L: large salad with fake feta and seeds
D: higgidy creamy mushroom and kale pie (very nice) with new potatoes, green beans, carrots, peas, broccoli and gravy
S: 2 x flat peaches, collective raspberry yogurt, magnum

B: 2 x flat peaches, kiwi fruit, 2 slices granary toast with miso mushrooms and spinach, half an avocado
L: large salad (lettuce, tomatoes, beetroot, artichoke hearts, mini peppers in brine, vegan feta and seeds)
D: hm kofta and hummus, wrapped in lettuce, padron pepper roasted with garlic/cherry tomatoes, cucumber sticks, lemon and coriander hummus, hm flatbread
S: collective raspberry yogurt, mango cornetto, crisps/salted nuts

L. Shallot and cuke salad with spelt toast plus spreads of course Choclate squares.
S. bowl of GF oats with almond milk and pumpkin seeds\molasess/nutmeg

Lunch was leftovers from Friday night - 1 kofta with hummus eaten in lettuce, tomatoes, roasted red pepper with cherry tomatoes and pine nuts, lemon and coriander hummus, reheated flatbread
D: Vietnamese sticky tofu with Singapore noodles
S: Jammie dodger, apple slices and PB, salted nuts, malt loaf

Escaped to London on my own for 24hours

Brunch: Richmond sausages, roast tomatoes, mushrooms
Dinner: honest burger vegan burger with it’s not bacon and cheese and chips, bloody delicious

Also discovered pretty decent oat milk chocolate in smiths

What's it like Kobani ? Is everything open now? Do you have to wear masks in the shops, restaurants etc? (I haven't been for many months).

B: mango, kiwi. Silken tofu scramble, mushrooms, large plum tomato grilled, toasted English muffin
S: crumpet with plant butter and marmite, 3 dates, 3 Brazil nuts
D: Dahl, cumin roasted cauliflower and squash, saag aloo, tenderstem broccoli, chapatis. Nectarine grilled with brown sugar and Swedish glacé for pudding

London is busy again, everything open, some people wear masks (grateful that everyone I know does) although even though it’s mandated on the tube there are still some who aren’t. But it’s as busy as ever, I’ve tried to avoid the tube.

@KobaniDaughters I'm not a fan of the tube at the best of times! I'll use it, but I have to sometimes have a word with myself about getting on with it if you see what I mean

B: Monday smoothie (still isolating, but working from home rather than on annual leave now)
L: black bean and Sweetcorn chilli with tofu sour cream, salad of leaves/artichoke hearts/beetroot/chickpeas (handful of lovely soft jarred ones that needed eating up)
D: Higgidy vegan quiche, sweet potato fries, grilled beefsteak tomatoes, peas

B: smoothie (nectarine, frozen banana, oats, orange juice/water, ice and agave syrup)
L: 2 slices of buttered granary toast with avocado/lime/chilli/seeds
D: cauliflower, sweet potato and red onion roasted with garlic oil, chilli and cumin, soft fat chickpeas, yellow tomato slices and a bit of lettuce. All with a lemon/tahini/turmeric dressing

S: cherries, pineapple

On the plane back to LA so will be on it again from tomorrow. Plane food was a vegan biriyani which was alright, with a chocolate orange cheesecake thing which was pretty good. They brought round cheese tomatoes about an hour ago and the air crew found me an actually really tasty white bean and sun dried tomato ball thing in pastry warmed up!
