I stayed in a uk B&B last night which I booked for 4 nights. Can I leave after one night and get my money back?

Just that really, the hotel is noisy and a bit tatty, but not cheap. It looked much nicer on photos and booking said we had a sea view but we're looking at the back of other properties and bins. I've paid £360 for 4 nights but just want to leave and find somewhere else. Is it ok to ask for my money back and what are the chances they'll give it?

Covid does affect your eyesight, just ask Dominic Cummings.

Review them on Tripadvisor so they have to clean up their act

We just stayed 4 nights in Eastbourne B&B the previous weekend for £408 and had similar issues.

The room was tatty and rather basic, random old furniture, tiny old fixed shower etc etc. The lactose-free milk option was an almond powder mixed with water ( I am not joking, owners admitted it!) The TV was set to an energy-saving mode, so it was too dark to watch, the car park was too tight.. where do I stop? We were glad to go back home at the end of stay.

After my honest and very fair review on Booking.com the owner wrote a counter-review of us being problem guests and denied everything saying it was a 'personal revenge as we did not get a free room upgrade'!!! How pathetic!

Then I read other reviews and saw that the owners blame every guest who gave a bad review. It should not be allowed to turn replies to hotel reviews into criticism of guests, IMHO.
