good for kids.

scorpio1 · 11/08/2007 18:00

i went last week, to Minehead.

LOVED it. the kids had a great time (5,5,&2). we spent quite alot of money there (for 4 nights) but such a great time. we went all inclusive-fod good, typical english choice iyswim? lots of activities, free things to do, swimming pool fab, etc.

Am going back at Xmas for 'Winter Wonderland', the kids liked it so much!

anything else you want to know?

Nemo2007 · 12/08/2007 20:28

Eddas have a good time

softmusk thats what we think, as long as the little fishes are happy then we will be. They will be 16m,2.5yrs and 4.5yrs when we go so it seems ideal spot for them. We are going to book Gold in Skegness with DB+B so should be relaxing.

cerys · 14/08/2007 18:23

We were at Minehead last week, stayed in a Silver Plus bungalow (self catering). It was clean and we had plenty of room, but the plaster was coming off the walls in places.
We didn't cook as often as I thought, so spent loads on eating out, so maybe half board would have been the better option.
The kids LOVED it - they are 7,5 and nearly 3. They liked the Milkshake show, the Skyline Gang shows. the swimming pool and Bob the Builder's yard best.
It wouldn't be mine and DH's number 1 holiday destination, but the kids loved it and were never bored. In fact we all came home exhausted
