South Lakes/North Lancs.

Why?

Diamondring · 08/01/2015 15:58

London, if I was rich

unclebumpkin · 08/01/2015 16:00

Devon or Cornwall, by the sea.

unclebumpkin · 08/01/2015 16:05

Devon, in an old cottage by the sea. We used to holiday there when I was a child and it's just lovely so relaxed.
Oh also for the clotted cream and the fudge Smile

SconeRhymesWithGone · 08/01/2015 16:06

Edinburgh

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 08/01/2015 16:06

TUNBRIDGE FUCKING LOVELY WELLS

[wistful face]

Gumnast2014 · 08/01/2015 16:07

Manchester

weegiemum · 08/01/2015 16:07

I'm not sure I'd move, tbh.

We live in Glasgow and love it here.

Might move back to the Outer Hebrides where we used to live.

I don't think I'd choose to leave Scotland.

Kewcumber · 08/01/2015 16:07

Right here - or to be fair probably down the road a bit where its closer to the tube.

Bowlersarm · 08/01/2015 16:08

We recently visited Chester, I was quite blown away by it and the surrounding countryside. Thought it was a very lovely area.

HerRoyalNotness · 08/01/2015 16:13

Close enough to London for DH to commute, but far enough away so we could have 10acres and have a hobby farm, with room for PIL in a separate cottage.

Pinkwillow · 08/01/2015 16:16

I live in Surrey, but feel very at home in Bath.

101handbags · 08/01/2015 16:20

Right where I do live - lovely town in Hertfordshire, easy to get to London where I work & spend a lot of leisure time. If money was no object I'd also buy a beautiful townhouse slap bang in the centre of Edinburgh. And a weekend home in Munich.

WyrdByrd · 08/01/2015 16:21

Dulwich Village in London. Nice community feel but near enough the centre to take advantage of everything on offer.

If I was single or DD was older and money was no object I'd live right in the centre of London here Grin

teejayem · 08/01/2015 16:23

I liked Ross on Wye & surrounding (Uber rural) areas. Also Cheltenham. Or Pembrookeshire.

Stillwishihadabs · 08/01/2015 16:25

House in South Ken and a sea view cottage in Perranporth.

unclebumpkin · 08/01/2015 16:26

am thinking of moving - but the only criteria thus far i have is probably this country...

guess i need to cut things down a bit somehow...

unclebumpkin · 08/01/2015 16:28

quite like the idea of being near some nice countryside, i guess...

tomandizzymum · 08/01/2015 16:33

Dorset

ShadowsShadowsEverywhere · 08/01/2015 16:38

Back to Devon. Moved away a few years go and have major regrets because I MISS IT.

mothermirth · 08/01/2015 16:39

Cornwall - West Penwith specifically wistful sigh

mothermirth · 08/01/2015 16:40

Besides nice countryside, what other criteria do you have?

LoveVintage · 08/01/2015 16:40

Mull. It is fabulous. Though I'd need my own helipad for retail therapy fixes.
