2. Do you get the head massage?
3. Do you tip?

I always feel so awkward and never know what to do. Help a girl out!

Are head massages usually an option?? I'd love that! I've never encountered it but one lady, years ago, would run her nails through my hair while washing it and it was heavenly. I'd have paid extra for it, if it was add on but it must have just been her way.

No, I've never known anyone tip anyone locally, unless a large party going out for a meal. The prices are the prices and it costs a fortune in the first place.

2. They just do it! No extra charge. If I go somewhere they don't do it, I don't notice.
3. I tip 20 percent. It's worth it....you wear your hair every day and I want their best efforts!

Never - I'm not a fan of massages.

Not every time but if I've seen one person several times over the year I'll tip £20-£30 at Christmas. Although I had a really great haircut last month where the stylist actually listened to what I wanted so she got £10.

My hairdresser is a good friend of mine though, which might skew my answers.

At my hairdresser you can scan a qr code and tip but it’s already £100 a time and I’m skint. Plus she has gone up a lot as she’s got better. I do feel bad about it though but gave her a tenner at Xmas

I don't usually like the massage but a young boy has just started and he is SOOOO good , absolutely brilliant and properly relaxing.

No I don't tip because it's a lot of money but I do put 30 quid in her Xmas card.
