What do others drink? I’ve just been taking my protein shake in but everyone else seems to drink something else. Creatine? Would be interested to hear. Thanks!

Into the gym? I just drink water. I have creatine in the protein shake I have after. Some people drink pre workout but I just run on pure excitement

Hi yes @RayKray thanks! I was thinking of creatine but was interested in what other do. I’ve not taken creatine before. Do you find it helps?

I've no way of knowing really as I'd need a control me to test against, but the research evidence is good. It's just meant to help you eek out a few more reps.

I have an electrolyte tablet and BCAAs in my gym drink. There’s various studies about the benefits of having BCAAs during a workout.
I take my creatine at another time of the day, in tablet form.

I've started to take creatine. I just put it in my ordinary water bottle, so my first 750 ml of the day has the creatine. Like @RayKray I haven't really charted whether it's helping or not, but all the evidence seems to suggest it will, and that it does no harm.

I don't use a pre-workout - I just eat eggs and tomatoes and spinach for breakfast, about 2 hours before a training session, and have a high protein lunch afterwards (chicken or tuna usually).

According to my ex PT and my partner creatine is extremely important and the only supplement worth paying for, excluding cod liver oil and multi vitamins.

I take pre workout. It's just caffeine and extra stuff. I like to have it as it sets a tone.
