Hi everyone, apologies in advance if this isn’t the correct forum to post on. I’m currently 4 months PP and getting back into fitness and weight training. Was very active pre pregnancy and did aerial sports. When DC was newborn it was questioned whether he had CMPA but as we heard opposing opinions from different midwives it was never clear if he did but I cut direct dairy sources out to be on the safe side. After incorporating them into my diet again this week, DC seems to be having a minor reaction. Therefore, I’m going to cut them out again but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of high protein non dairy sources, minimal prep effort and preferably something on the sweeter side as well? I was really enjoying protein yoghurts. I’ve read conflicting information online about whether protein powders are safe to use whilst breastfeeding.. also, I’m not a massive fan of nuts or seeds. If anyone has any ideas/suggestions/experience I’d really appreciate it

@Toystory123 how about those protein balls that they sell in Lidl? There's a few different flavours Wink

Tofu. The blocks of smoked tofu are nice cut into cubes and added to various meals.

Porridge made with non dairy milk.

Many protein powders are vegan. I'm not sure what the conflict would be with breastfeeding as long as it's purely protein, no additives or vitamins.

Do you dislike all nuts? What about nut butters?

You can get high protein vegan breads, Warburtons I think has recently launched a plant power range.
