Half Marathon

Any training plans for sub 2 half marathon please ... will be running 3 times a week generally?
Also should I strength train in same days as run or different days?
Add in any cardio workouts?

Ran my first half in March 2.01.36

I'm following the training plan that comes with the Garmin.
Chosen coach Greg to do 4 runs per week but I think you can do 3 rubs a week with coach Amy.

Beware the training plans - I followed mine religiously even though it seemed slow but I had faith in Amy. It was a disaster! No where near fit enough / fast enough so trying to stick with the 2h pacer ruined me early on.

I switched from Amy to Greg at around week 10 the first time I followed the plan in November. Got sick of getting 3 easy runs plus a long run week after week.

Greg's program is intense and more varied, but definitely not for the faint hearted.
