Hormone imbalance after steroids?

Hey everyone,

Is it possible for a man to have a hormone imbalance after taking anabolic steroids?

My partner has been on and off them for about 3 years and came off his last dose probably about 6 months ago.

But I’m noticing now he is so snappy, has little to no patience at all and will blow his lid over the slightest thing.. he never used to be like this!

Could this be due to the steroid use? I know last time he didn’t take anything afterwards to bring his levels back up.

It's not a hormone imbalance! Anger and the inability to regulate feelings is a well-known effect of illegal anabolic steroid use.

Yes I agree. It sounds like he’s still taking them.

Those things are horrendous. He needs to stop and find better ways to train without them.
