Abu experiences with door bars? Preferably removable?

Could a straight one be used lower (for lo or for me to hang of with legs / knees)?

Or are the bigger complicated ones better?

And any recommendations?!

I have a simple screw in one which is fine for simple chin ups and pull ups. More complicated bars will be wall mounted.

However make sure it is well screwed in. I once had mine come off with me still attached...

😄 @ GeekLove - I have a simple screw one too, but I have noticed that there are cracks appearing around the doorframe... Perhaps wall mounted is better.

I've got one that hooks on the door frame and stays put through the leverage of your own weight on it. Really good, haven't had any problems with it after a year of daily use and I'm pretty heavy at 11 1/2 stone.

Min is still ok BUT it is mounted on one of the main supporting walls the kitchen door, which used to be the back door. It can csuse cracks in the party walls - this happened when it was in my bedroom.
