I'm thinking of training to compete. What's a decent entry score for a female? I can't find much online in Thr way of scores.

I love my kettlebells but have to admit I'd never heard of a pentathlon! After a quick Google I can safely say I wouldn't be able to get through that on my own. Maybe as part of a competition with other people spurring me on. But I'd get too bored otherwise.

What kind of score have you got when you've done it?

I am so sorry, I hadn't seen anyone had replied.

Last time I did full pentathlon I'm sitting at 750. I am aiming for 850 by December. It's slowly upping one move by 2k per week but trying to keep reps high to get there.

Apparently only three women in UK can score over 1000 so there's a challenge...

It's great fun, I find I do need someone to train with though. Not so much fun alone.

The other test is the 100 snatch test. Gold standard is 100 with a 16k in five minutes. I did 8k for 100 in 4.29 last week at the end of a session and 10k for 100 in 4.22 at the start today. Next week I'll try 12k and when I get it under 5 minutes I'll push up to 14 then 16. It's fun competing with myself with that one.

I know no one else is here but I scored 829 tonight. Nearly ten weeks til the comp date too. I reckon I can make 900 if I keep working.

I've been meaning to look back on here. Well done on your score. I've not heard of KB pentathlon, do you train in a club?

I know his is an old thread but I'm quite interested in this- rj did you compete (I can't work out 10 weeks from your post!) What is your score now?
