Does anyone want a tarot card pull?

I need to get my eye back in as I'm planning to get back in the swing of offering readings again in my local area.
I've been out of the loop for a couple of years, so I'm happy to do a few readings on here, because you'll be helping me just as much as I may be able to help you.
I should point out that my readings are not based on any psychic ability; I believe that each card contains multitudes and that normally a topic is discovered through back and forth during a reading, so forgive me if these seem a bit dry. If you could give me an area to focus on I'd be obliged, as with just a single card pull there's not always a huge amount to go on.
Let's limit it to the first 10 people and we'll see how we go.

Ooo go on then OP. I would like to see what you predict

seriouslyfunny · 16/01/2025 13:46

@PracticalTarot thank you so much. The 'place of worry' is spot on and I really appreciate the reading.

PachinkoFreeFood · 16/01/2025 13:54

@PracticalTarot I would really love a card draw please. I'm at such a crossroads in my life and desperately need a sign/some inspiration to get me going again.

MorrisZapp · 16/01/2025 13:59

I would love a card. I want to know if I will feel close to my teenage son again.

@ForSparklyLemonLurker You have asked what's coming your way this year, and your card is the lovely 9 of pentacles. The card shows an elegant woman standing in a beautiful garden or vineyard with a falcon on her hand. She has achieved much in her life and now is the time to enjoy the rewards her hard work has brought. This can be something big like a house move, or something smaller like spending money on renovations, decorations or personal improvements, holidays, clothing and so on. It is the card of windfalls and inheritances, money from property in general. It also has a side note as a card that encourages gardeners to get out in nature and get digging! It's a great card with very little in the way of downsides, and when it shows up there is normally only happiness.

Thank you so much. This sounds about right for what me and dh are planning. As for the falcon...I have a parrot 🤣

@PracticalTarot if you have any energy left I would love one. We are moving house and I would love to know if we made the right decision and this will be a Nancherrow home for us.

Won’t let me edit so I’ll ask again here

I didn’t realise I needed to ask a question, so I would like to know how my year is going to progress

CaraCameleon · 16/01/2025 14:41

my question is what does the year ahead look like please?

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 14:46

@Onewishfornow You asked about romance, and I have pulled the eight of cups for you. This card basically tells us that we need to know the right time to walk away from a situation. The card is a difficult one which deals with endings, and its meaning is very clear. There is no going back, however much we'd like to. The card doesn't always refer to a situation that is inherently bad -sometimes things have reached their natural conclusion and there is simply nothing more to be gained from a relationship. We might be leaving behind a lovely person, but one who is simply not right for us. It takes a lot of courage and maturity to reach that point, and to start all over again. But new beginnings are the flip side to this card. You can't have an ending without the start of a brand new something around the corner. Take your time, but whatever it is that's been niggling at you -that won't change, and your intuition is probably right.

Hi I also didn’t realise I had to ask a question if there is anything about a house move . Thank you

anonymous98 · 16/01/2025 14:53

Thanks, may I ask about my love life as have been single for 6 years! (For people insisting that's not that long- I'm only 26).

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 14:54

@FutureFuture I pulled for you the 6 of wands. This is a great card to have if you are emerging from a particularly gruelling stage of your life -if it's felt like it's been a long slog to even get to this point then take comfort in the fact that this is a card which points to success. This is the card that makes all the hard work worthwhile. If you have been studying for a qualification, this points to a good outcome. If you are looking to change careers, this says that you will find the path to do so, and that it will return a positive result fairly quickly. In fact, any endeavour you could name that you may be struggling with will be made easier and lighter by this card. It can also refer to any legal dealings that you may need to see through -they will go off without a hitch. And particularly -because I pulled another card to narrow down which area the success may come in -money is highlighted, so look to investments and make shrewd decisions now that will pay off later in the year.

You may have no idea how much this reading has encouraged me and relieved my heart! It makes perfect sense to me. Thank you very much and I'm so glad you pulled a card for me as I was beginning to think that as usual, I won't be lucky enough to be picked. Thank you very much for all of it. ❤️

thrifty24 · 16/01/2025 15:16

I would love one please. Looking to know about fertility

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 15:18

@Justcallmebebes Your card is the Magician. You asked about happiness and security, and this is a broadly positive card. And what I am about to say next is going to sound both glib and absolutely obvious, but nonetheless -You already have everything you need for your own happiness and security. You have the wherewithal within you to make it happen through your own abilities and grit. The Magician has on the table in front of him the symbols from each suit of cards - he points to the heavens and earth at the same time and he has the symbol of infinity over his head. He contains everything there is to need in order to succeed at anything. It's hard, I know. It's incredibly hard and very easy to say. But the truth is that no one is going to just turn up and make your life amazing for you. You have to be able to manifest your own desires and tap into your own potential. It's like Glinda says in the Wizard of Oz: 'You've always had the Power, my Dear. You just had to learn it for yourself'

Can I please have one if still available - For this upcoming year

Onewishfornow · 16/01/2025 15:28

Thank you so much for your lovely, detailed reading @PracticalTarot . I really appreciate it! It makes sense to me, you're right - there is a situation that's been niggling me for a while and if I don't walk away the chances of future happiness are slim, I think.

I love the way you describe the cards. I have a pack of tarot cards but only have a very, very basic understanding of their meaning, you really bring the cards to life - you've inspired me to take out my pack and learn more about them. Thanks again!

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 15:38

@abracadabra1980 You asked about health, and you got the ten of swords, an alarming looking card, but not one that necessarily has the meanings that people would jump to, looking at the image. That's a lot of swords, right? That person looks pretty -well, dead, basically!
But no. This card deals with endings, yes, but also the start of things. Something has to finish before a new cycle can begin. This can be something as simple as a course of medicine, treatments, or just a way of thinking -swords in the tarot deal with thoughts, after all. Would a different way of approaching your health bring any benefit? A new exercise routine, a new way of looking at nutrition, cutting back on something? It could refer to something not working out for you, for example you may have tried a therapy, or counselling, that just isn't gelling with you. Use this card as the catalyst to find the thing that will work for you this year.

@Castlerigg I pulled the three of pentacles for your question. It's a great card for anything relating to housing because it shows three people discussing the plans for a building. It is a card of encouragement. Three is the number of expansion, so in your case it could be referring to a bigger house, or building work that needed to be done to an existing house. This card encourages you to build on existing foundations, through collaboration and advice from trusted experts. The point of collaboration also stands with regards to everyone else who will be in the building. The threes ask us to work within our community, be that our family, wider family, neighbours or even street -is everybody on board with the plans? Have the plans been explained and fully gone through with everyone who will be affected by them? To that effect -have the plans gone through all the proper legal channels and been signed off where they need to have been? The three of pentacles is a great card but it does remind us that the devil is in the details!

Love reading please if you're still doing them. Thank you

sparkleystuff · 16/01/2025 16:01

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 11:51

@sparkleystuff For you I pulled The Moon. This card rules the unconscious mind and often refers to anxiety and depression, worries and intrusive thoughts. It shows a situation which is confused and murky, with no clear outcome shown. It can refer to self deception, and has links with over reliance on medication which can lead to confused thinking. It is definitely a card which refers to mental, rather than physical, health. If this feels like it could be something that has a bearing on your life, I pulled another card for clarity, which was the seven of pentacles. This is a nice card -it shows that you have come a long way from where you were previously. You have made good progress, and now would be a good time to stop and take a breath. Take stock of what you have achieved, review your successes and make a plan of where you want to go next. Sevens can represent the end of a cycle, and the need to have a look and see where we are before we continue on. But onwards we must go. Hopefully the next cycle will begin in the knowledge you have already achieved a lot.

Thank you.I do have a physical problem and anxiety and low mood has been a symptom. Also approx. 18 months ago my husband and I nearly spilt up. To cut a long story short we have sold our house and are now living a non traditional life. It has left me enough money in the pot to arrange a private operation to cure my symptoms. I'm already feeling very hopeful.
Thank you again.x

Can i also ask why do I keep seeing the same number all the time its so odd

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 16:08

@Nowmum43 You have asked about family, and I have pulled The Tower for you. That card has shown up a lot since I started doing these readings! If you have young adult or teen children, this can really be a card that represents teenage strops and absolute meltdowns. They seem so hard to handle but they are normally over before they've even begun, and usually mean nothing serious.

Whatever arguments there may be (and this is a card that can represent arguments, rifts, unsettled feelings and everything up to and including breakups), they have no real roots in anything with substance.

If you don't have teens, then this card could relate to the same kind of arguments with family members -lots of hot air but not based in anything too worrying.

The Tower can sometimes mean that we have put someone on a pedestal and they have revealed unfortunately that they are only human with feet of clay after all.

There is of course the possibility that the card could be referring to darker and more troubling arguments, splits and revelations within the family that could lead to real heartache. Someone may have even lied and deceived you. All of these are possible. It might not be the easiest year, but please remind yourself that most things will look worse than they turn out to be.

@Jibberjabba The card that came out for you was the 10 of pentacles. It's a lovely card. 10s represent completion. You asked about your creative career this year. This is not a card that normally relates to creativity as such, but it does mean things that can be passed down through ancestral lines, so I wonder if perhaps your job has a heritage element to it? Or is a craft as opposed to a digital career? If that doesn't resonate with you, then it might be a more prosaic answer -this card represents money flowing downwards -towards you, most certainly, but this may be in the form of a wage. The settled nature of the card makes me wonder if you might be 'settling' in your career. It's nice, it's comfortable, it allows for a nice life -but is it fundamentally rewarding? Do you need more challenges? This card can cover things like a house (or job) move - a relocation even. If you need money to make that happen, this card indicates that you would have no problem securing the funds, probably from family.
