Does anyone want a tarot card pull?

I need to get my eye back in as I'm planning to get back in the swing of offering readings again in my local area.
I've been out of the loop for a couple of years, so I'm happy to do a few readings on here, because you'll be helping me just as much as I may be able to help you.
I should point out that my readings are not based on any psychic ability; I believe that each card contains multitudes and that normally a topic is discovered through back and forth during a reading, so forgive me if these seem a bit dry. If you could give me an area to focus on I'd be obliged, as with just a single card pull there's not always a huge amount to go on.
Let's limit it to the first 10 people and we'll see how we go.

@SnowflakeSmasher86 It's Death. But don't worry. I absolutely love this card. You asked should you persevere or should you start again and Death tells us that you are coming to a natural end of a cycle, and not to fight it because the opportunities available for you in the 'new life' that's waiting for you, are bright and shiny and new and untested. The shift between the two realities is not without its difficulties, as sometimes the change can come with a loss of status, prestige, money or authority, but you are being encouraged to clear away the 'dead wood' of your old life to see what's really there that you value. This doesn't necessarily mean physical things, it can refer to a more psychological or spiritual shift. But whatever happens, starting again will be one of the most powerful things you can do. Courage!

That’s amazing thank you. I think the lightness I felt when I read this signals that this is what I was hoping for in terms of direction. The finer details can be ironed out later, but I’m not hanging on in some limbo, which has been suggested by others. Time to cut the ties and start afresh. Snip snip motherfuckers!

I agree with @MorrisZapp - your manner is just so lovely. Kind, reassuring.

GiraffeGlee · 16/01/2025 11:49

I would love one please 🙏

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 11:51

@sparkleystuff For you I pulled The Moon. This card rules the unconscious mind and often refers to anxiety and depression, worries and intrusive thoughts. It shows a situation which is confused and murky, with no clear outcome shown. It can refer to self deception, and has links with over reliance on medication which can lead to confused thinking. It is definitely a card which refers to mental, rather than physical, health. If this feels like it could be something that has a bearing on your life, I pulled another card for clarity, which was the seven of pentacles. This is a nice card -it shows that you have come a long way from where you were previously. You have made good progress, and now would be a good time to stop and take a breath. Take stock of what you have achieved, review your successes and make a plan of where you want to go next. Sevens can represent the end of a cycle, and the need to have a look and see where we are before we continue on. But onwards we must go. Hopefully the next cycle will begin in the knowledge you have already achieved a lot.

Oh please, may I have one? My question is to do with a health niggle and if I should be concerned. Many thanks.

Yes please, please focus on a property (home)

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 12:01

@NarcMindGames For you I pulled The Star. She never seems to come out in my readings, so lucky you! She is traditionally known as the 'Wish' card of the Major Arcana, and always brings positive vibes. She brings encouraging news that better times are ahead, that you will soon feel that life has turned a corner. She encourages us to look inwards -we are all made of stardust and as such she encourages self belief. Good things rarely happen to us just like that, we do need to put in a hard yard now and again to make it happen. But she has the ability to ameliorate potential problems and spread cheer. At her best, she's a lottery win level amazing happening. Now is definitely time to buy a ticket! On a lesser level she's the 10 pound scratchcard win that allows you to buy a nail polish and some chocolate. She covers the small pleasures as well as the big. She can represent a Guardian Angel as well as more organised ways to connect with the divine, if that is something that would be helpful for you. She encourages us to get outside, look up and the stars and imagine what can happen if we just believe in ourselves.

@PracticalTarot Thank you for that interesting reading. It has given me some ideas.

Threepe · 16/01/2025 12:31

Hi I would love one if it’s not too late. Thank you

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 12:36

@dottyaboutstripes Your card is the four of cups. You may be going through a phase where life feels flat, stagnant and not moving on. You mention a recent accident -perhaps your recovery is proving slower than you anticipated and you are bored and frustrated as a result? Perhaps you feel that you aren't being given the full story by healthcare professionals. The four of cups shows us that there is an answer out there if we are willing to accept it. It can also represent a situation where we have been betrayed by the people we trust. I pulled another card to see if it would throw any light on the situation and it was The High Priestess. In your situation she could represent different methods of recovery, exploring alternative avenues such as holistic medicine, talking therapy etc. She is always an indication that we should trust our instincts as to what is right, however much others may want to 'blind us with science'.

Please do one for me.

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 09:38

@stoppostingreminder You asked me to pull a general card, and you got the four of wands. It's a lovely card, which traditionally can imply a house move, or a relocation, or a decision to stay put. Whichever way you spin it, this card revolves around the home, and where you put down roots. If you are considering renovations, this card encourages you to go for it, even if you're just thinking about changing the blind in the kitchen. The card also has a habit of appearing at points in people's lives when they are emerging from a significant life stage -this is a classic the kids are off to uni/have got married/had kids themselves card. You may have put your life on hold for some reason, but now is the time to emerge and get back into the swing of things. This card is the foundation from which all happiness grows; it represents strong foundations and happy unions. It can show a peaceful retirement, rewarding friendships and joyful family life. It is a card of ease, smoothing over bumps in the road, pouring oil on troubled waters. Lucky you -enjoy the coming period of peace!

aww amazing thank you @PracticalTarot ! I have a few projects that I need to get back to having been on hold for months, so this definitely speaks to this. I am trying to build strong foundations for them and get them done properly - there has been a long hiatus. I'm also entering a business with friends and hopefully it will go ok. I've been on the fence about it for ages but hopefully this means it will be ok going forwards.

Thank you so much! Flowers💝

Can I be added please

CultureAlienationBoredomandDespair · 16/01/2025 12:50

Yes please! I’d love to know what’s going to happen with a house move and also a work situation.

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 12:52

@Catsinpartyhats You have asked about your New Job and the card I have pulled is The Tower. There's an element to The Tower which is that you might feel that you have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire -this card can cover rash decisions made by ourselves as much as it can mean outside events which happen to us. I hope that you are enjoying your new job but The Tower would suggest that it may not be the best fit for you. In terms of Yes/No cards, the Tower is a definite NO. The card represents sudden change, not always for the better. It can be the card of arguments, clashes and dramatic changes, like job loss, disputes or promotion above one's abilities right through to bankruptcy. In smaller more day to day ways however, this cards tells us that nothing is ever as bad as it seems at first. If you've started a job recently and are unsure about it, this is actually quite a reassuring card, as it tells us that we've probably blown things a bit out of proportion and the things we perceive as huge dramas are actually nothing of the sort.

PracticalTarot · 16/01/2025 09:03

@SugarPlumpFairyCakes I pulled the ten of wands for you. Generally, this is a card that appears when we are overburdened, or burnt out. We are carrying far too much responsibility, and the weight of other people's expectations weigh heavily on us. It can refer to a project that you are determined to get over the finish line despite the toll it is taking on you. The end is in sight, and is probably nearer than it feels, but you can't see the wood for the trees. This is the card of ploughing on relentlessly, even if the path you are treading is not the best one for you. It can be the card of staying in a job that is no longer the right fit for you, when actually, a new role is closer and more achievable than you think, if you were to just look around. It can indicate that you don't always make things easy for yourself, that you can, perhaps, allow yourself to slip into a slightly martyred way of thinking. Fundamentally, the card asks you to try a different approach, a different way of thinking, a new tack to make life easier for yourself.

Ok. This is spooky for me.

cittigirl · 16/01/2025 13:07

Yes please, can it be general please, no specific area but if needs be then health or love. Thank you.

Blarn · 16/01/2025 13:08

Oooh, I know I've probably missed the boat for this but just in case there's room for more! Never done this before so hope my question isn't too specific.

I'd like to know if this year is going to give me the career progression I've finally realised I want.

Bixterret · 16/01/2025 13:09

@PracticalTarot

I'd love a reading, I'm lonely having lost my husband 4 years ago. The sadness is still great, will it ever get better?
