Does anyone want a tarot card pull?

I need to get my eye back in as I'm planning to get back in the swing of offering readings again in my local area.
I've been out of the loop for a couple of years, so I'm happy to do a few readings on here, because you'll be helping me just as much as I may be able to help you.
I should point out that my readings are not based on any psychic ability; I believe that each card contains multitudes and that normally a topic is discovered through back and forth during a reading, so forgive me if these seem a bit dry. If you could give me an area to focus on I'd be obliged, as with just a single card pull there's not always a huge amount to go on.
Let's limit it to the first 10 people and we'll see how we go.

Ooh me please @PracticalTarot , I love a good tarot thread! Could you focus on career for me please?

Baileysandcream · 15/01/2025 19:16

Ooh what a great idea! Yes please, I'd love one if you have time !

Should I carry on with my current goal and plans or give up on the idea and move forward in a different way.

way past ten but if you do get to do some more I would love one please. about a health situation that is weighing on me..

@3luckystars I pulled the Queen of Wands for you. She's a wonderful woman who gets stuff DONE. She does not muck about, always on the move, very dynamic. She is a card of movement, so I would say that the signs are to arrange surgery sooner rather than later. She's the queen of hearth and home, gregarious, chatty, fun to be around. This could be you, or someone who could be instrumental in your recovery. It could be a reminder to not let worries about home and those around you in the household, take over. She's a kind woman who would do anything for anyone, shirt off her back type. But that can also mean it's easy to overreach herself, and the card advises caution against that. All the best to you, whatever you decide.

@CRG01 I have pulled The Devil for you (Sorry, don't worry!) This card often shows up when people are in situations of their own making. It can literally represent 'The Devil you know'.
The situation often seems much worse than it actually is, and actually, you can extricate yourself much more easily than you think you can. You may feel trapped in your current situation/job and even thinking about something new is terrifying and fraught with all manner of perceived problems. It can indicate dependency, for example you may feel that you require a certain salary to maintain your current lifestyle, but on ruminating on it for a while, you may decide that actually, the balance offered to you in a different sector may be worth taking a slight pay cut for. The card asks us to examine self defeating attitudes, and how we can move on from them.

Hehe - this seems very accurate to my thoughts! Thanks so much xx

@Iamacatslave I'm afraid I pulled The Tower for you. This is the card of breakups, I'm sad to say. It's a card of high emotions, drama, people throwing themselves about the place in unnecessary strops. Often breakups can come out of the blue, which is what is being suggested here. Everything is high octane with this card, and the changes that will be made as a result are not always pleasant. But they will be necessary. This card gives you the chance to start again, to rebuild what you had on solid foundations, whereas what went before was shaky, to say the least. It can also represent someone who you put on a pedestal, someone who you worshipped and who has shown themselves to have feet of clay. The scales may have fallen from your eyes with regards to their behaviour. However, one of the main comforts this card can give is that nothing is ever as bad as it seems at first sight.

Me too please PracticalTarot if you get chance and can focus on goals for this year if that's not too vague. Thanks

PracticalTarot · 15/01/2025 19:52

@SnowflakeSmasher86 It's Death. But don't worry. I absolutely love this card. You asked should you persevere or should you start again and Death tells us that you are coming to a natural end of a cycle, and not to fight it because the opportunities available for you in the 'new life' that's waiting for you, are bright and shiny and new and untested. The shift between the two realities is not without its difficulties, as sometimes the change can come with a loss of status, prestige, money or authority, but you are being encouraged to clear away the 'dead wood' of your old life to see what's really there that you value. This doesn't necessarily mean physical things, it can refer to a more psychological or spiritual shift. But whatever happens, starting again will be one of the most powerful things you can do. Courage!

Oh can I have one please. Love in coming year, new or old?

PracticalTarot · 15/01/2025 20:01

@Marcipix I pulled the nine of wands for you. The wands usually represent action, although this particular card tends to turn up when there is a lull in an ongoing struggle, telling you to regroup and marshal your resources. This can refer to health, money, interpersonal stuff -it's more a card to remind you to look after yourself as while there might be a lull in the action now, it sure as hell is going to pick up again I'm afraid, and you'll need to be ready. So in that sense, if is a card to give you clarity it is asking you to be resourceful, to draw on your own self belief (which people often don't have enough of.) You can only rely on yourself, you can only fight your own battles, and sometimes other people fight dirtier. It can also be a card that says our fears seem bigger than the reality of the situation, so a sense of perspective is always helpful.

@paranoiaofpufflings Your card is The King of Cups. In terms of careers and expanding your skill set, he would suggest the arts, media, the charity sector, psychoanalysis, counselling and also, sometimes health related careers. (Because his card is represented by the sign of Pisces, he is often associated with addiction, drug use (and rehabilitation!))
He's a paternal, thoughtful man who can guide you, so the suggestion would be to take heed of other people's advice when it comes to any changes -particularly from those people who know you well. He represents an intuitive approach, or even a career in which you would need to rely on your intuition and emotions. Even when not thinking of careers, this card is the encouragement we sometimes need to take up a hobby, or do something for ourselves that soothes the soul for no other reason than it feels good.

Thank you @PracticalTarot. Please could you focus on finances for me?

AnnieMay2000 · 15/01/2025 20:17

Yes please.

AnnieMay2000 · 15/01/2025 20:18

It's about my Daughter. Thank you.

FartingAgainstThunder · 15/01/2025 20:21

I'd love one if you are still doing them please.

I'm wondering if I should start my own business when DS starts nursery this year or look for a job.
Not entirely sure what the business would be to be honest.
