Does anyone want a tarot card pull?

I need to get my eye back in as I'm planning to get back in the swing of offering readings again in my local area.
I've been out of the loop for a couple of years, so I'm happy to do a few readings on here, because you'll be helping me just as much as I may be able to help you.
I should point out that my readings are not based on any psychic ability; I believe that each card contains multitudes and that normally a topic is discovered through back and forth during a reading, so forgive me if these seem a bit dry. If you could give me an area to focus on I'd be obliged, as with just a single card pull there's not always a huge amount to go on.
Let's limit it to the first 10 people and we'll see how we go.

@flummingbird Your card is The Emperor. He doesn't necessarily represent a man, but the attributes assigned to him are those of control, dominance, seriousness, and authority. The card normally represents someone who has a hold or a sway over you. In relationships, this could be an actual person, or qualities that you find desirable (or repellant!) in a partner. It can also refer to our own ways of seeing the world -for example the card would encourage us to not be so rigid in our thinking and to expand our horizons to encompass partners that we would not normally consider. If you are just sick to the back teeth of trying to find a partner, the Emperor is a nudge to just stick at it. The card is ruled by the sign Aries, who are headstrong at the best of times and rush in where angels fear to tread. Only you will know if this is a sensible strategy or not!

Yes please! Should I try for another baby, we have one who was hard to conceive (mostly to stay pregnant), and have been told the only option is IVF now (by lots of professionals), should we try or not?

As in go for the IVF or stay as we are.

@FanFckingTastic I pulled the four of pentacles for you, and the seven of swords fell out on top if it. Both cards have been covered already this evening and I was tempted to pull again for you but decided against it. The tarot always seems to know best with regards to what it wants to show you!
Your question regards legal matters, and my immediate thought is that someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes financially. There is trickery afoot with regards to money. The four of pentacles can sometimes allude to the sunk cost fallacy of holding on when you should be thinking of giving up, or at least trying a new tack, so you may want to consider if that makes any sense to you. It could be something as simple as you're using a law firm who aren't giving you the results you are after and you should possibly think about changing advisors, to something concerning outright fraud, or at the very least, money mismanagement. Someone could be hiding money from you, or pretending to be broke when they aren't. I pulled a further card for you to see if there was a definitive outcome and got the World, which indicates success. So be prepared for a trying time, the outcome of which does look hopeful.

@JC03745 I loved your question -don't often get asked things like that! I pulled the two of swords which usually pops up when you are stuck in a stalemate. I'll guess that it's not a simple case of 'should I go to X or Y?' but that you and someone else have conflicting opinions and there doesn't seem a way to balance everyone's needs. I will also hazard a guess that the weight of trying to balance everyone's needs and opinions is falling solely to you. Usually this cards turns up to ask you how you plan to deal with a situation because it's impossible to carry on as you are. It is a 'shit or get off the pot' card. The card doesn't give you an answer in and of itself, it encourages you to look at why you are at an impasse. (but if it is a simple X vs Y question -go to the place with the calm water).

Just in case you want more practice… me please?! I am trying to make a difficult decision re work. Thank you x

PracticalTarot · 15/01/2025 18:53

@SereneCapybara In simple terms, yes. Key plans will go ahead this year. Whether they take the form that you currently envisage is something else. I pulled The Hierophant for you, and he normally appears when it is prudent to not rock the boat, to stick to convention and familiar ways of doing things. Now is not the time to go off half cocked! He represents organised religion, authority, order and playing by the rules. Only you will know if that's they way you plan to do things to achieve your goals. Because this card is sometimes called The Pope, it can warn against trying to hold ultimate power over people, or taking the moral high ground and criticising others. The Heirophant stresses the qualities of tolerance, understanding and compassion.
