Does anyone want a tarot card pull?

I need to get my eye back in as I'm planning to get back in the swing of offering readings again in my local area.
I've been out of the loop for a couple of years, so I'm happy to do a few readings on here, because you'll be helping me just as much as I may be able to help you.
I should point out that my readings are not based on any psychic ability; I believe that each card contains multitudes and that normally a topic is discovered through back and forth during a reading, so forgive me if these seem a bit dry. If you could give me an area to focus on I'd be obliged, as with just a single card pull there's not always a huge amount to go on.
Let's limit it to the first 10 people and we'll see how we go.

Hello - I see you have had quite a few but if you are still offering to could I have one please ?

:)

crouchendtigerr · 21/01/2025 18:56

Could I please, if possible?

Nextdoor55 · 21/01/2025 19:09

PracticalTarot · 21/01/2025 18:36

@Nextdoor55 I'm so sorry to hear you're having such a tough time and I hope you manage to make peace with the situation.

Thank you at least though I have my immediate family all of whom are supportive. Just very saddened for my dad

SugarPlumpFairyCakes · 21/01/2025 19:13

Please can you tell me if I will ever have a romance or relationship ever again?

MolluscMonday · 21/01/2025 20:00

Thank you so much, @PracticalTarot. It wasn’t as directional as i’d hoped, but maybe it’s just not time for that yet- thank you so much for all the hours you have put into this thread. Your manner is so lovely and I wish you every success in the world :)

@FartingAgainstThunder This is the first time that Justice has appeared, but it doesn't surprise me that it has taken this long. She is a heavyweight card, and she only seems to appear when there are serious decisions to be made.

Like the statue of Lady Justice at The Old Bailey, she holds a sword in one hand, and scales in the other. In some Tarot she is also blindfolded, the better to be able to make an impartial decision. Like Maat, the Egyptian Goddess who weighed human hearts against a feather to see that they were free from sin, and worthy of a place in the afterlife, Justice weighs the evidence in her scales. Her sword is there as a symbol of her authority, and lets us know that her decision is final.

You ask about starting your own business. This card cannot tell you yes or no, it stands instead as a warning to not take any decision lightly. You may need to take legal advice before you decide which path to go down. Justice is there for mediation and discussion -have you talked to other people about your ideas, or asked for professional opinions? If it is still a pipe dream at the moment, she is telling you that this would be a good place to start.

In terms of what area you may be thinking of for a business, she rules all manner of admin, legal work, accountancy, mediation, counselling... anything where logic and patience is an advantage.

Thank you so much.
This makes sense to me as still very much in the pipe dream stage and will absolutely need to seek professional and possibly legal advice before I get started.

Thanks again for getting back to me.
This is a lovely thing that you're doing.

ColourBlueColourPurple · 22/01/2025 17:56

This is so lovely of you to do this!

Can I ask about relationships - what do you see in my future?

okaynotokay · 22/01/2025 20:32

I'm interested please and thank you. 🙏🏻

Been made redundant early last year. Need a job asap as running out of money. Please help me with your wisdom. When will I find my next role.

Clawdy · 26/01/2025 17:31

Has the thread ended?

CaraCameleon · 26/01/2025 21:10

It seems so

Sockmate123 · 26/01/2025 21:40

Mine never got done 😢

CaraCameleon · 26/01/2025 21:54

Well the OP has gone well beyond the number she initially offered to read.

ssd · 26/01/2025 22:07

I'd have loved a reading too but i totally understand the op must have felt she had done enough. Her answers were lovely to read and i think she's made a real difference to most people she answered.

PracticalTarot · 27/01/2025 07:26

Hi all
I will try and get back to this thread this week - life got in the way- but I doubt I'll get everyone done by a long shot. I've gone way over my initial number and each reading takes a while to formulate.

It's been really helpful for me to get back in the saddle so thank you to everyone who has let me practice on them.

Just a gentle reminder that tarot works best by asking us to look inward- for me it's not a divinatory tool - it is there to make us examine our/ other people's behaviour and acts best as a catalyst for change. If we were honest with ourselves and prepared to examine our feelings and situations more, we often wouldn't need the push that tarot can give us.

Hey @PracticalTarot I think you skipped me?

PracticalTarot · 28/01/2025 09:47

Yes lovely, you didn't tell me what area you wanted me to pull a card for. I've skipped everyone who didn't give me a subject to focus on.

@LadyLolaRuben Regarding relationships, I pulled the Wheel of Fortune for you. The comforting thing about the symbolism of this card is that the wheel is always turning. So no matter where you are on the wheel -currently riding high or being crushed beneath it, it will continue to turn. It offers hope when things are bad, and acts as a warning not to be too complacent when everything is going your way. Fortunes can change in an instant. Traditionally, this card indicates that fate is at work. You can only play the hand that you are given, but remember we are all in a constant state of flux, and what seems good/bad today will go round again with the wheel. You asked also about your secondment and will it turn into a permanent role. I pulled the King of Pentacles, and he is a very steady, calming influence who often turns up in questions about careers. He rules bankers and real estate, investors and steady, feet on the ground jobs. He's a long term investor who takes very little risk (that's the job of the King of Wands!) and is often a manager of other people. I would say that in those terms, the future looks positive.

@CurlsandCurves You asked about health and family, and the card I pulled for you is the Knight of Pentacles. He normally describes a situation that has come to a temporary halt. He can indicate a rut or a period of boredom or stagnation that can be self imposed of be imposed from outside of your control. He represents a serious and steady man (although can refer to a person of either sex) who is somewhat dull and boring, stuck in their ways, unwilling to look for different ways to do things. I asked the cards what was needed to give a push, and pulled the 7 of pentacles. This indicates to me that you -or whoever you have in mind, may just be taking some time to recover and recuperate, rather than actively digging their heels in from stubbornness. The change has already begun -perhaps in small ways but it is there. I wonder perhaps if you are frustrated and eager to get going, but something or someone is holding you back. The cards say that fruition will come, but you need to exercise patience.

I think most folk can't see the wood for the trees, that's always been my problem.

PracticalTarot · 28/01/2025 10:31

@AlwaysApril Your card is the 4 of wands. This is the card that can often come up when people ask about house moves, and you ask if you should sell up and move to another country. When not pointing to a relocation, this card tells us that we now have time to relax after a lot of hard work and enjoy the fruits of our labours. It indicates a happy home life, and strong family ties. It often pops up after a very stressful interlude, telling us that we can start our life again. Because that wasn't really answering your question, I pulled another card. It was the 7 of wands, and this can show up when we have a lot of internal conflicts or worries that we may be suppressing. There are worries about what we are doing with our life which may grow to ridiculous proportions in our minds. I clarified further with The Hanged Man, who represents acceptance, among other things. So I would say that these cards show your quite natural worries about a huge life changing decision will end with peace and acceptance of whatever path you choose.

@BCSurvivor You say you feel stuck in a rut, at work and personally. I have pulled the Ace of swords for you. This card represents a new way of thinking. All the aces present gifts to us, and the sword's gift here is mental clarity. There is no room for sentiment with this suit, it's all about making tough decisions and putting emotions aside. The card could indicate for example, that you are currently very wrapped up in your feelings and are experiencing your emotions very strongly, -you might feel that you are at their mercy. This card asks you to look at whatever situation you find yourself in and try and be as dispassionate as you can. Look at the situation as if you were advising another person -what would you say to them? Are you prepared to take that advice yourself? Learning to separate feelings from emotions might be helpful to get you out of your rut.

@PracticalTarot so true, and so apt.
Thank you!

@angelstread You asked about romance, and your card is the 5 of pentacles. This is a difficult card when it comes to someone's love life.

You might feel at the moment that you are a bit 'out in the cold' emotionally or romantically speaking. This can be the card of watching everyone else getting on with their lives, and wondering why they all seem to be doing better than we are. Of course, this card can show us that we have, actually, been treated appallingly and without kindness, but it is also the card of turning away potential suitors for niggling little reasons. It can be the card of getting the 'ick' over something daft, and then bemoaning why we can't find anyone decent. It can also be the card that reminds us to look deeper, and examine things (or people) that we had previously disregarded. We might not be seeing something or someone that would be absolutely perfect for us and they are right in front of our nose.

PracticalTarot · 28/01/2025 11:26

@FMSucks The card I have for you is the two of wands. It can't tell you the answer to your question I'm afraid, but it is telling you that you are in a great position to assess your situation and consider the next steps you need to make. It is a card that tells us to be vigilant, to check that everything is as it says it is. You need to have control over the situation for it to come out in your favour.

All the twos talk about some sort of partnerships, and often decisions. This is a great card for a successful outcome because the suit of wands is dynamic, active, talkative, and alert. It says if we keep the channels of communication open, we can do anything. The man on the card holds a globe in his hand, and that globe represents possibilities and opportunities. He has set one wand in the ground behind him, which represents decisions made. The other wand is still in his hand as he looks at the globe -he is still deciding what to do with the opportunity it represents. He is dressed well, expensively even. He looks like he knows what to do. He is a man we can trust to make the right decision.
