Been asked to leave yard because I’m a SW

YipYapPaddywack · 04/04/2024 13:21

I’m a discreet sex worker and have been for 4 years. I do very well and pay all my tax etc.
My family are aware of what I do, my eldest (17) is semi aware but because iv done it so long its just a “normal” job, in the fact I go to work and come home every day.
we have a pony who we have owned for 2 years, last year we moved the pony 5 mins away from home. It’s been fabulous, my daughter loves it and had made lots of friends there, but we usually keep ourselves to ourselves.
The YO texted me last week and said that circumstances are changing and she’s had to ask a few people to leave, as I was one of the last to join she said we had to leave. Obviously daughter was/is very upset. Turns out she hasn’t asked any of the other 5 people who joined after us. It’s only us. It came out yesterday that somehow someone on the yard found out what I do and told her, and she obviously doesn’t agree with what I do so has asked me to leave.
The worst part is, they are treating me now like scum. Literally won’t speak to me or look at me, has ignored all my messages, and is making me so anxious that I’m refusing to go down and my husband and daughter are doing it. We’re looking to move asap but everywhere that’s close is full. I’m so stressed. Obviously I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep it secret forever but I wasn’t expecting for my child to be punished because of something I choose to do behind closed doors.

Iv never had sex with another man.

I'm guessing you’ve never watched porn before? Or your husband?

porn has been around a long long time, what I do isn’t anything graphic or extreme. Maybe google sploshing and WAM, actually don’t.

I do absolutely nothing that would be deemed “sexual”. It’s a niche. I play with food, get messy and film it. There clearly is a huge market for it.

I think people are being very prudish on this thread. I'd say if you are doing nothing illegal then it's shocking that they are judging you based on some fake assumptions about your job. If it's legal, it's legit. There are plenty of jobs we may not approve or or like... I'm not a fan of those bailiffs that rip out meters and leave people without gas but hey ho.
However I don't know where you stand legally. It's a private business and presumably they can admit their clients and make decisions on who they admit.
Personally I'd be writing them a forceful letter asking them if they've got a policy around why they block clients and can they explain how that policy is fairly applied. You could also try to force their hand on the protected characteristics side as your DD is female. And tell them that you are concerned they are discrimating against her on the grounds of sex. They'll say no of course but then they'll be forced to explain what it is instead

blackcherryconserve · 04/04/2024 14:06

So as a sex worker you star in porn films? Your kids will be so proud when they know the truth.

pleasecallmeback · 04/04/2024 14:07

I bet some of the sons or husbands off horse owners have used your services and their mothers and wives aren't happy. I didn't think there was a good living to be made in the cam girl business, unless you cater for very niche customers or have some celebrity status.

TimeandMotion · 04/04/2024 13:50

Sorry, come again?

Sorry @TimeandMotion one of the doc at the children's hospital was filming their onlyfans sex videos in the staff changing rooms at the hospital, so have rather low opinion of such 'sex workers'! And like the OP, they're very proud of their 'work' and everyone else is wrong.

InTheShallowTheShalalalalalalalow · 04/04/2024 14:07

Have you thought about taking in some ironing instead op 😂

At this point I wouldn't want to be there anyway with them looking down their noses at you. Hope you get something sorted soon.

IsadoraBathrobe · 04/04/2024 14:08

🤢 the winky face at the idea of a 15 year old (CHILD) watching porn. Vile.

YourSnugHazelTraybake · 04/04/2024 14:09

Cookiemiguel · 04/04/2024 13:49

This. It’s just not a pleasant thing to do, is it? And that’s putting it mildly. We see it all the time on the news, someone’s lost their job and their kids been thrown out of school just because their mums on only fans. And this is full on prostitution. And from the looks of it it’s very common knowledge that the ops a prostitute. People are going to be disgusted/look down their noses, and the livery owner has her own reputation to protect

Where the fuck has op said they're a prostitute!! Sex work includes such platforms as only fans, not just prostitutes for fucks sake. The fact I that there are still judgmental bigoted people like you in the world is the problem. There is no reason why people should be looking down their nose at sex workers and calling them scum. It's a choice, and nobody should be taking their judgment out on innocent children.

You're earning £100k+ a year playing with food? Rough estimate from your 'I pay more in tax than most earn' statement. Bloody hell. And if you do nothing sexual, why do you call yourself a 'SEX WORKER'?

AnOpinionInTheHand · 04/04/2024 14:11

I’m not surprised they don’t want you there really, it’s a bit sleazy. I know we’re all supposed to be “sex work is work it’s just empowering hun” but it’s not.

You clearly wanted everyone to think you’re a prostitute to wind everyone up and watch them go otherwise you’d have said “I have an OF” instead of using the term sex worker when you aren’t having sex for money and claim your content is not sexual.

NoisySnail · 04/04/2024 14:11

So you do cam work. Which basically means filmed porn.
I would not want my daughter to be around your family - and on yards there are a lot of teenage girls whose families will not want them to be around your family. So if I knew you in real life I would be advising her to avoid you.
I understand women doing this when they desperately need money to pay the bills and feed their kids, but you make it sound like a lifestyle choice. As it seems a lifestyle choice I would not want my family near someone with those kind of poor morals.
And neither I or DH watch porn either.
So I am not surprised you have been asked to remove your pony.

In fairness, you say you do nothing that could be deemed sexual, but you started out by saying you're a sex worker, so you can see where the idea came from.

UpsideLeft · 04/04/2024 14:12

I did guess it was OF after you said you weren't an actual prostitute sleeping with other men

You'll probably get lots more traffic to your site now they all know, from their husbands wanting to check you out

You could brazen it out and simply say it's not true and just vicious rumours but I guess they have your link to your site

People can make an absolute fortune from OF so crack on but now it's out everyone will know about it in your area

It's a catch 22 though because for someone to really know they'd have had to visit your site for proof as opposed to listening to rumours

Is it easy to find out or would someone have had to be one of your clients on OF ?

MonstrousSnob · 04/04/2024 14:12

your poor husband and kids

Exactly this. If you find a niche that’s big all over the world then you can make good money. Especially years later when you have got a reputation for doing it good.

OP posts:
NoisySnail · 04/04/2024 14:14

It will be porn. Social media is full of women claiming they make a fortune from Only Fans doing niche non sexual stuff.
If you are Only Fans you make money for getting others to sign up and post content.

The only people making money on Only Fans are either doing porn, and often quite extreme stuff, or they are getting others to sign up and getting a percentage from anything they make.

Is that as in “yeah do it to me good baby”?

I can certainly tell you’re not on the literary side of the sex industry.

NoisySnail · 04/04/2024 14:16

And if it was true that what you were doing is non sexual, you would not call yourself a sexual worker. You know you are making porn that uses food, that is why you call yourself a sex worker.

NoisySnail · 04/04/2024 14:19

@UpsideLeft Most people on Only Fans make very little money. I read an economist analysing the accounts and earnings. About 10% make zero money.
A small percentage make a lot. They are either already well known influencers or well known in porn, or post extreme porn, or have recruited lots of other women to Only Fans and make a percentage from their earnings.
Those who make money through recruiting often exaggerate how easy it is to make a lot of money. Because this is how they recruit and make money.

TimeandMotion · 04/04/2024 14:19

Also loving that this was posted in the horse riding special interest topic as if the type of advice OP is after would be the kind of thing that horse owners in particular have experience in. Surely there is a sex topic where you might have half a chance of finding others in your “industry” with analogous experience of discrimination?

LivingDeadGirlUK · 04/04/2024 14:21

You sound very savvy OP and it's a shame someone has 'outed' you, but OF is a bit like MLM, there are very few people making a lot of money with it, and lots of people getting very little, having their content stolen and shared, and who don't have a team to help them rectify this. I can see people wanting to try and protect naive teens from thinking its an easy way of making a living.

But lets be honest they probably aren't just 'thinking of the children' and you are better off finding somewhere that isn't so full of judgy pants.

NoisySnail · 04/04/2024 14:21

@TimeandMotion She is not really after advice.

NoisySnail · 04/04/2024 14:21

And OP I would want you nowhere near any teenage girls.

TimeandMotion · 04/04/2024 14:22

or have recruited lots of other women to Only Fans and make a percentage from their earnings.

ah no, I get it now! Stealth targeted recruitment of women with strong thighs and a wardrobe full of chaps and boots who need extra cash to fund their expensive hobby! Clever.

I had no idea OF had a recruitment side, so it is EXACTLY like an MLM, honestly when are people going to stop falling for this bullshit.
