having had the evidence I have checked by admin on a closed Facebook group. my story has been posted. Im not sure if I'm allowed to post the name of the group that would have to be joined to read it. pm me if you want to know or someone let me know if its allowed Smile
i don't think I ever posted the whole detail on threads here.

Littlebigbum · 28/01/2014 19:06

Good you know, new group
Xxx

mrslaughan · 28/01/2014 20:00

I thought the new group was full of QP's supporters.......or do I have that wrong....honestly I can't keep track......
I left this group last time b/c there was a coup......

Littlebigbum · 28/01/2014 21:56

Yeap I've very confused

Lovesswimming · 28/01/2014 23:02

yes I'd go with the old group. it can now be joined by searching Dodgy Horse dealers the truth shall be outed membership joining page
(can't see why that wouldn't be allowed?)
it is the admin from the original group (that are still the admin there) that ran my story.
the admin from the 'new' page I'm not sure about as I've heard so much stuff going around. but certain people are commenting and calling stories like mine a vendetta so take from that what you will....
however I'm currently on both keeping an eye on whats said and who's who. i am disappointed as it seems one of the original admin who i thought supported me may have been trying to block my story? but i really don't know.

Have you seen there's a third group as well? The Truth about SC? Confused

Lovesswimming · 29/01/2014 09:21

Yes singing, it's not accepting members at the minute, just those that are on it who have been effected to 'discuss' things. Just keeps that group of people together to progress things Smile

im now a bit more clued up....thanks loves for the heads up.

i was getting a certain "vibe" from the "new" group that i didnt much like - seems there are many oddlets on there who wont hear a word said against Queenie peeps.

i couldnt work out what was happening.

the more people who complain and seek redress the better. this needs sorting. no one should have carte blanche to do to people what that dealer is doing just because of a fan club!

Careful Vicar, mustn't name names or we'll get deleted!

I didn't find out much on my hay buying/fact finding mission this morning as the lady in question wasn't there. I managed to briefly quiz the owner of the field as she opened the barn for us to fetch our hay and it was a very familiar story! 50 year old lady wanted a quiet horse she could just get on and ride (not complete novice but aware she was getting older and wanted a 'keeper'). Bought nice safe coloured cob from dealer, let it settle in for a week while she got a saddle fitted etc, all seemed well. Got on it, rode up path at edge of field, turned round to come back and it exploded. According to field owner who was witness it didn't stop bucking hard until it had got her off. Phoned dealer only to be told it was her fault for not lunging it for half an hour first!

Interesting comments on the video tonight. Obviously taking notice of what's being said.

I remember it very well - please PM me - I have wondered about the out come a few times x

I have a friend who is a dealer. Lovely woman works 24/7 to build her business and has lots of happy customers. Let's people take horses for long trials for a small deposit and will take horse back and return deposit if there is any problem.

I have known her stop people from trying horses if she doesn't think their riding is up to it and will refuse to sell if she thinks horse isn't suitable.

However she fell out with someone who then made complaints to TS.and she now has to go to court. It is totally a case of one persons word against another and my friend is sick with worry over this.

I am not doubting the original point of this thread at all and have been following with interest for some ttime. Just feel so bad for my friend as she really is one of the good guys.

Lovesswimming · 08/02/2014 10:48

Issy, trading standards do to take you to court over one case so that won't be what's happening I don't think? The person she disagreed with will have taken her to small claims. She could settle outside court, does the person want her to take the horse back? Sometimes it's better just to refund even in this sort of situation as it's not worth the stress she is going through. Sorry if I'm wrong, just I've been in the situation and I know trading standards only intervene if there are lots if cases and it is more than a civil case (wanting to return a horse is a civil case for small claims)
One person is really not worth your friend going through this whatever the rights or wrongs, my advise would be to settle the case. If this dealer had offered to settle my case (which is clearly a miss sold horse, no question about it) then to avoid a long winded court process an agreement would have been come to.
Pm me if you want to give more details of what is happening with your friend. Yes I am a disgruntled buyer who has been done over by a dealer but I also run a business so will look at it from that side x
