Other requirements for staff room entry include the ability to find the staff room, the ability to find a clean mug in the staff room, knowledge of the photocopier codes, and the ability to sniff out where the booze is stashed - Thirsty Tuesdays, Fizz Fridays now in operation.

You can sit on chairs but keep the windows open. You don’t have to upload LFT results during the holidays. You do not have to wear mask - free choice

Are estate agents always frustrating?

Me: I can do early morning or late afternoon and get flexitime from work sorted.
EA: how about 12pm.

Estate agents are wankers. Second only to conveyancing solicitors receptionists. It seemed like an absolute shock to ours that I expected him to know things about the place I was buying. Not talking crazy stuff, just council tax band and whether it was leasehold or freehold.

Agree! Though I have found the probate solicitors to be even worse with my house move.

You are not filling me with hope here. Although the rate stuff is selling here it will have an offer on it by the time I see it. So getting to the point of needing solicitors anytime soon seems unlikely.

Ime any “agents” are s*. They just want to make their money. Estate agents, employment agencies. All nod and smile when you tell them your requirements, then either never contact you or constantly contact you trying to push you intoned the opposite thing to what you requested.

The main thing that changes is carrying on life as pre pandemic is in no way illegal. Although may contravene eg hospital regs. I imagine hosp security might be quite busy? Just what they need, I’m sure.

Aibu to expect a copy of the email sent to parents about the isolating my class and I have to do as close contacts? I've just had a message on the school whatsapp group saying I have to add on extra days. But no details. Ffs.

Well, we all got notified yesterday afternoon that another year group was out, but I suppose everyone else is "safe" now, depending on your viewpoint.

Surely staff who have to isolate /amend isolation get an official letter too maddie?

Stressful week - after DS got sent home to isolate on weds had taken my eye off the ball with DD and her phone…. To find all sorts of friendship issues and talk of self harm etc… have accessed mental health support on DH’s private insurance and had to contact her school safeguarding person though as others also talking about it. Essentially she is finding friendship navigating massively stressful, doesn’t know how to behave, trying to fit in, generally I’ve let her down by not being on the ball where I’ve felt shit all half term… TF it’s summer holidays and new school in Sept frankly.
