Other requirements for staff room entry include the ability to find the staff room, the ability to find a clean mug in the staff room, knowledge of the photocopier codes, and the ability to sniff out where the booze is stashed - Thirsty Tuesdays, Fizz Fridays now in operation.

You can sit on chairs but keep the windows open. You don’t have to upload LFT results during the holidays. You do not have to wear mask - free choice

Just seen someone say on Twitter that after 30 Aug all unvaccinated over 12s will have to quarantine to enter France. What’s the bettering there’ll be a u-turn on vaccines once people realise they can’t go to Disneyland Paris?

We went back early in Sept and Mon and Tues next week are technically INSET but we disaggregated the hours. Easter timing may have some impact too. We had Easter as the first weekend of the holidays so had good Friday off.

For those that are breaking up on Thursday, did you have longer than us at Easter? I am just wondering where the days have come from. I know 2 of the days are training days for us.

I finish Friday and we had two weeks at Easter so haven’t quite got my head around when we have done less but we did only have 6 week half terms before and after Easter maybe?

I'll get on the Skype hype later when I have a laptop, not sure if I can deal with another phone app (none of you are making it sound easy!).

Yep! The ‘No-Vaxxers’ I know they hate the term anti-vaxxer but this seems more fitting will soon realise vaccines are a good thing and something to celebrate.

I know, heard some twit on the radio earlier whining that not ONLY did it mean Brits couldn’t go on holiday to France, but ALSO they couldn’t drive through it to get to Spain etc.

My heart bleeds.

And yet that sort of thing will get more attention - because it may affect MPs and journalists - than the fact that we still don’t have a proper isolation payment system for those on zero hour contracts etc

Yeah. The 'personal responsibility' people do keep continually having a problem facing up to the consequences of their decisions.

Finding out that other people might make different decisions that negatively affect you seems to come as a bit of a surprise.

So many local businesses saying they are keeping distancing/masks for staff/would like customers to continue to wear masks. It’s quite heartening, really, that the cafes and shops I like aren’t pandering to the swivel-eyed Freeeeeeeduuuummmm! mob.
