What stationary to gift primary school

I’m planning to buy some school supplies for our primary school rather than overwhelm the teachers with yet more chocolate.

For KS1, what stationary do you always run out of?

Sorry should have said, it’s in lieu of Christmas presents.

I'd suggest Amazon vouchers, so they can buy what they need, when they need it.

I’ve always found teachers to be extremely happy with glue sticks, post it notes, and “well done” stickers.

I’ve also given funny sellotape dispensers and staplers which also went down well.

Definitely glue sticks but not the super cheap ones, they don’t stick!

Glue sticks. Proper Pritt or something that really works and doesn't slime on in blobs and peel off a week later...

We are really short of paper so that would be great. Brilliant idea!

I'd get them some stationery.

DC’s school had a mufti in exchange for glue sticks and boxes of tissues. They got loads of supplies.

If you can access a branch of Costco they do packs of 24 glue sticks for around £6.00. They’re Scotch brand so really good quality. 8 large boxes of tissues for £4.

I imagine what teachers really want for Christmas is a government not intent on distroying schools and the entire education system including enforcing cuts which mean that pritt sticks need to be gifted in the first place.

Also, white board pens for the chn to use also go down well.
Or if in doubt.... Vouchers.

Whiteboard markers, coloured paper.

Board Games are also always useful in the classroom.

Ideally I would want for people to vote for a government who won't prioritise leaving the EU and the earnings of rich people over the state of this country's education system.

It's awful that I'd love this. Why am I reliant on my own glue stick buying? Why am I buying pencils for my class? Why am I rationing paper? (because I buy it). My Academy head drives a Bentley and they've just spent a ton on redoing her office. I don't have a TA, can't do interventions, and have no pencils unless I buy them.

I feel such guilt about asking for classroom staples from parents. It really shouldn't be happening.

I sometimes help out on First Aid, and it's ice packs for bumpes & bruises that seem to disappear, so several boxes of those would be great!
