I stood on the scales today. Oh lord.

I've eaten out for at least one meal a day every day.

Please say you are all the same.

I have also put on about half a stone over the holidays. Sad. Going back in to school tomorrow for inset, and am not looking forward to wobbling my way into the staff meeting.

Yep, me too.

The thing that annoys me is that according to my fitness tracker I have been more active.

I have eaten loads though. It's rather like 6 weeks of Christmas isn't it.

Back to yoghurt for breakfast and rushed cracker bread for lunch.

I did think about not drinking during the week, but that is just silly.

Me too. Sad

I had such good intentions too. It started so well and then a Devon holiday happened with ice cream, cream teas and wine...

Anyone interested in a getting back into good habits thread? I've filled the freezer with soup for healthy lunches.

Yep me too. Desperately need to get back to being to busy for snacks!!

noblegiraffe · 03/09/2017 13:38

I hope I still fit into my school clothes. Evenings where I can sit and watch a film and eat snacks instead of being stuck doing marking and planning all the time have been my downfall.

I hadn't even thought about school clothes. I darent even try.

I pretty much only wear Boden jersey dresses and M&S wideleg jersey trousers to work in September and January! You are not alone.

I've gained about 5 lbs. Hopefully it will come off once I start rushing around at school!

I've gone up a dress size and the head did a double take of my tummy on results day. I think she thinks I'm pregnant Blush. Food and booze...

Me! 9lbs on.... i put on some very tight jeans the other day, that weren't meant to be that tight... stood on the scales and went back on my healthy eating there and then. I've lost 2lbs this last week.

I've just had so many meals out / birthday dinners / grabbing lunch in town / 2 engagement parties with massive buffets / tea and cake while shopping.
Plus being at home more and just grabbing a biscuit, etc.

No more! (Will be wearing flowy dresses and leggings for school this week)

We are all going on a health kick. My gain is partly because I haven't been doing my karate training for over a year but also due to being a total biscuit Hoover! DH is expanding too & DD has got rather tubby over the holidays. Of course we won't mention diets to her but just say our family is going to try to get fitter

Only a TA here but I am the same. 6 weeks of drinking tea eating biscuits, holiday ice creams, chips by the sea, drinking way more wine than I should is showingSad

Haven't even tried on any clothes for tomorrow. Might go with some lovely shoes in the hope that no one notices how much fatter I've got over the holidays. At least shoes should still fit Smile

I must be weird as I lose weight when off work as I move more and don't eat by the clock.

Report
Balfe · 03/09/2017 17:00

I am the opposite. I always put on weight when we go back thanks to the staffroom cakes and biscuits. I cannot resist them.

Same here. All my school clothes are incredibly tight. I blame all the Prosecco I've had, and the fish and chips on the beach, BBQ at the beach, and ice creams. I live in Devon - my body should be used to it by now Grin

Whereisthesunshine · 03/09/2017 17:07

mynameis, yes to the Boden jersey dresses Grin

Can I join in? Dashed into primark yesterday for some suitable clothes in the next size up, so I at least have something to wear.

Diet and exercise starts tomorrow. We'll see if it lasts until the end of the week.

SmileAndNod · 03/09/2017 17:15

Think I need some Boden jersey dresses, if anyone has any links.
Back on the salad for lunch tomorrow. And no alcohol during the week possibly
I think that the wealth of September birthdays at school is going to be my biggest challenge - all that cake 🎂

I have a few of the easy weekend/pocket dresses, I think they are called. Plain colour, jacket in top (we have to wear a jacket), tights and flats, and Bob's your uncle.

I've actually lost 9lb but I had put 7lb of that on between finishing my PGCE at the end of May and the DC finishing school Blush. I only managed to lose 9lb out of the 4 st I need to lose so I'll still be wobbling into school tomorrow but hopefully I can at least do my trousers up!

At worst I gained a stone in 2 weeks. A stone.

Off the worst now but still 4kg up. Purely too much sitting around within easy reach of the fridge and time to cook lots of nicer food.

Report
cpjoli · 03/09/2017 18:22

Yep here too. My trousers are rather snug as are my tops. Had to buy new bras this week as they are right.
Hopefully it'll come off once I am back tomorrow. I've stocked up on grapes and soup !!

Appuskidu · 03/09/2017 18:38

Yep-me too. I have just weighed myself and I have never been this heavy-even at 9 months pregnant!

Slimming World starts tomorrow-am eating dust for every meal Grin
