Primary PGCE last year as a very 'mature' student, but doing an extra final placement right now to finish ticking the boxes. Currently in yr 6 - eek!

EverythingsNotRosie · 20/09/2012 18:24

Secondary English and SEN. I found my mug covered in mould at our partnership school down the road. Truly, someone must have driven there with tea in my mug and then left it there! 9th year!

Glad you like it. Smile

Enjoy!

Thank you MNHQ! And themumsnot for setting the ball rolling.

I'm Secondary English with a TLR for Active Citizenship - prefects and Pupil Council and whatnot. Starting my fifth year. Feeling a bit demoralised at present, truth be told!

orangeandlemons · 20/09/2012 18:43

Secondary DT (now a marginalised subject thanks to lovely MR G)

15 years (eek) on the chain gang

HelenMumsnet · 20/09/2012 18:49

Our pleasure. Oh, and if you've a Q about our education system for Lord Adonis (who used to be Minister for Schools), do please join our live webchat tomorrow at midday (Friday 21st Sept) or, if you can't make it then, we'd really welcome some advance questions on the thread.

FE here and none of us have any mugs at all coz we're not allowed a kettle in our staff room - if you want a drink you have to fight the mob in the canteen, your reward for negotiating your way to the front of the queue is your drink is free

chocolateshoes · 20/09/2012 19:49

secondary MFL here!

LizzieVerekerGold · 20/09/2012 19:50

Could you get Michael Gove on HelenMumsnet? I'm sure we'd make time to talk to him Grin We'd follow the talk guidelines, honest guv.

ravenAK · 20/09/2012 20:07
orangeandlemons · 20/09/2012 20:12

Hmmm....Gove...... I'd enjoy that Universal

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 20/09/2012 20:20

Don't worry MNHQ, Oranges didn't mean 'sadistic'; she meant 'seductive'. No really, she did. She reeeeeealllly wants to talk nice and maturely to that nice Mr Gove too. Go on, get him on, you know it makes sense [sweet smile]

ravenAK · 20/09/2012 20:21

I'm not sure my blood pressure could cope with the slithy Gove on here!

Dramajustfollowsme · 20/09/2012 20:23

Primary in Scotland, just back from mat leave. I don't drink hot drinks either but my glass occasionally disappears.

LonelyLou · 20/09/2012 20:27

Hang on...I'll just change my identity....I'll be back before the bell goes.

FelicitywasSarca · 20/09/2012 20:33

Secondary drama, geography and PSHRE.

Communal mugs but arguments about sandwich fillings in my staff room farking public school problems

TwllBach · 20/09/2012 20:34

I am just feeling like I'm having a rotten week that's all! I feel like for the most part all I've done is faff about and dole about punishment. I'm assuming I will feel less clueless soon?? lie to me please Grin

EyesNEars · 20/09/2012 20:34

School Counsellor here. Bringing my own mug and a tin of biscuits for comfort food.

EyesNEars · 20/09/2012 20:36
