Neither of those events would have been hampered if he’d stayed home with his newborn son and (subsequently self-identified) mentally ill wife. He achieved nothing with his attendance except maintaining his presence as the founding patron figure, potentially in order to maintain his link to future grifting opportunities.

We watched the recent episode of the revamped Mock The Week tonight.

Three separate comedians (at least) took the piss pretty cuttingly out of HaM. These are fairly young, progressive-ish comics, Sarah Keyworth (they/them), Rhys James and Glenn Moore. HaM are now officially National Twats.

And yes, the game’s up for the Sussex Squad. I suspect they’ve been on the radar of the security services for quite a while.

I am all for the royal family essentially going grey rock with HaM, it’s definitely the right strategy. I’m also all for the two statements released (recollections may vary and then private citizens). What I’m not for is the fact that the pair of them are still on the bloody website. They need a short, sharp and definitive shock, though I doubt it would completely hit home for them, they seem immune to self-reflection. But it would definitely send a concrete message to the public.

As a frequent visitor to Yellowstone National Park, I agree. You better know the rules when you're dealing with wildlife. And not chasing them or running towards them (or allowing your children to do so) is, I think it's safe to say, rule number 1.

Another share token before running away. In my defence, I am on holiday in a very different time zone. I am all for charity but selling stuff like this seems so cynical. Designed to provoke. I also question moving back to the UK and raising money for charities in wealthy SoCal. Why not India / Africa?

The article in the Times says the Moms Offering More charity was set up by Kosondra Herrendorf-Cohen, a Canadian heiress. So what was M’s involvement in co-designing the sweatshirt? Not much…

So she helped them choose to make the sweatshirt in cream with chocolate embroidered slogan!!! Wow! She has been SOOO involved.

The MOM charity appears to be a small Canadian charity helping single mothers. They have an annual hamper event where they raise funds to provide Christmas hampers to single parent families and last year gave out 116 hampers worth about $500 Canadian dollars each.

I bet we hear of As Ever donating (soon to be out of date) goods to this charity in the next few weeks.

Definitely think you’re right on the donating front. And I’m not a fan of these type of expensive hamper donations. At the very least, surely it would be better to reach double the amount of people for $250 per hamper? Who knows, I’m not a charity bod, but I’d rather a wider reach. Or, rather than a hamper, a voucher so that the recipient can choose to buy what they need/want. I’d be pissed off with jars of spread or sprinkles!
