Hearing your pregnant wife is suicidal and doing fuck all. It’s beyond everything else.

Now to play act some kind of mental health expert?

That's simply not true IMO. Meg doesn't do anything she doesn't want to. I have never bought her suicidal ideation claims tbh. It was all part of her victim mentality.

They may well have full protection. Otherwise they have to pay for their motorcades on Thursday

Why would they get 'full protection' for a private gig? They haven't so far, so I'm not sure what will have changed by Thursday.

Maybe Robin Hood and his Merry men have made some serious threats?

I understand your skepticism because they have been provably dishonest and manipulative.

I do not personally feel comfortable openly making judgements like that about the mental health of others, particularly when it comes to suicidal ideation.

But taking them at face value, Harry refused her the help she needed.

What a hypocrite.
Then when she was in labour with Archie he used up all her pain relief gas cannister. Imagine that, getting your own high when your wife is labouring with your baby.
Unbelievable.
I tell you what, if that had been me, there wouldn't have been baby no2.
What a prize husband Harry is!

Exactly this.
He did nothing to help.

So often when posters come along to ask what H&M have done wrong, I wonder if they just haven’t paid attention to anything they said themselves.

I would have thought Malala's high profile from a young age would have made her quite canny at recognising people with their own agendas.

But what’s wrong with collaborating with someone who has a high profile in order to further her own agenda and foundation’s profile?

She can take a tenner’s worth of jam money and enjoy the many many thousands of new visitors to her website for the sake of afternoon tea.

Tiddlywinks63 · Yesterday 12:57

IcedPurple · Yesterday 12:08

More like several thousand! And given Meghan had no trouble retaining her American PR people and had no issue with jetting off to NY for a pap walk product placement "baby shower", I don't get the impression she was passively being told that she could only see the 'royal doctor' whoever they are!

I was talking about Diana…..

Agree on the one hand. On the other, running a charity, I would have insisted upon a different venue.

I was accused of acting like I “know better” despite not being a London resident. But even right outside the Claridge there is a nice coffee shop where you could eat like a Princess for 1/10th the price.

It's bizarre, isn't it? That whole shameful episode Harry gleefully recounted in "Spare" as if it were an amusing anecdote.
Imagine watching your wife in labour and taking all her Entonox! What a lad, what a laugh!

Well I’m looking forward to the state visit of the Sultan of Oman on 20th - 22nd October. There is going to be a state banquet and we all know what that means…. No uncouth private citizens and the Royals looking fab!

Childish at best. Recounting it for the public is something people who have mentally normalised drug use would not recognise as being inappropriate.

Of course! Plus, as we've said, Meghan was booked in at a top private maternity hospital!
He could have called her Consultant.

Exactly! It's just easier blame everyone else but themselves how he got a gig as a parenting expert is beyond me... what's worse is that everything goes unchallenged in these interviews, obviously the hosts will do their research & know what we do but he is never held to account, he's just given an open mic

Looking forward to seeing the glitz & glamour!

Each, right?

Rather lush for people trying to promote charity.

Do you think the girls they mean to support in Tanzania could use £190 for example? You can feed a family of four about ten weeks there for that, by one estimate.

Calling someone who served 10 years in the British Army, including two tours of Afghanistan, a “loser with no achievements” says considerably more about your judgement than it does about Prince Harry. To dismiss a decade of military service, including deployment to an active war zone, as though it amounts to nothing is breathtakingly ignorant.

Harry chose to leave the Army after ten years. Further progression would have involved increasingly desk-based responsibilities, a direction he recognised wasn't suited to him. Knowing your strengths and choosing a different path isn't failure.

He subsequently went on to establish the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans. Whatever your opinion of Harry, that is an achievement in its own right.

There's also a rather unpleasant layer of intellectual snobbery running through your comment. Not everyone is academically inclined, nor should they have to be. Some people excel academically, others are technically gifted, practically minded or thrive in entirely different environments. Why are we still perpetuating this ridiculous notion that university qualifications are the ultimate measure of intelligence or achievement?

I'm sure Prince Carl Philip's qualifications and career are perfectly respectable, but using his graphic design credentials to belittle someone else's decade of military service is a particularly bizarre comparison.

Perhaps you'd like to undertake two tours of Afghanistan yourself, serve your country for a decade, and then have someone sitting comfortably behind a keyboard dismiss you as a loser who has achieved nothing. I wonder how you'd feel about that?

You don't have to admire Harry to acknowledge his achievements. And frankly, an education is supposed to broaden your mind, not give you an excuse to look down on people whose achievements happen to be different from yours.

I do agree with you in some things you say. I don't dismiss H going to a war zone one bit. I'd be scared. I am sure he was too , so all credit to him.

I would say that further progression might have meant more exams ( in terms of rank ) and a desk job probably wouldn't have suited him.

I think it is well sourced , Harry did not found the IG . It was partly as a joint RF venture , with money from a royal foundation and H was nominated as the patron and then that was a (non Royal) charity he could lead.

Where I absolutely agree with you is that University , academic qualifications are not the be all and end all. People have many different qualities and some of those don't include passing exams. Couldn't agree more.

The one thing I would say re your last paragraph , one thing an academic education , or , if not, a broad mind , is knowing not only your own opinion is valid. And where I think H is missing a trick is that he is leaning way too much into personal experience without having learned too much about the very complex issues about the subjects he speaks about.

All this in the spirit of a sensible discussion @LifeIsTooShort247 . I hope you take it as such.

IDontCareWhatMyUsernameIs · Yesterday 13:08

You also need to promote your foundation, and this was a pretty solid PR opportunity.

What else could you spend £100 on in the world of marketing that would generate hundreds of thousands of eyeballs?

Hint: absolutely nothing.

Sorry @theovertgardenerI did quote you but it didn’t work for some reason.

JoanChitty · Yesterday 13:12

Was this birth where M had an epidural, a water birth and yet was home two hours later? I call bollocks. It’s the same if H was ever asked about his children. He doesn’t seem to know what stage they’re at. I’m sure he was asked what they were up to and he said they were busy!
im surprised we’ve never heard chapter and verse on her birth experiences. Mom being her most important title.

Feared by the bad, loved by the good...
(Now all of you who are old enough will have that in your heads all day.)

Hmmm. I’m being careful here because discussions concerning mental health are always tricky, but with my cynical head on (which I seem to have to wear quite a lot wrt the Sussexes), I wouldn’t put it past them to have concocted the whole thing to try and make the RF look bad. The fact that Diana apparently threw herself downstairs when pregnant makes me think there could have been some Diana cos play afoot. The fact that Meghan seems to have recovered from this episode with no help makes me further suspicious. Harry insisting that “the show had to go on” and they had to go out that night and also that it would look “bad” for the RF if he asked for help seems fishy when we know he, Catherine and William were involved in Heads Together. Add to this the fact that Meghan had a maternity package that gave access to mental health help and that any pregnant woman is constantly asked how she is feeling, and that Harry had easy access to therapists, my cynicism is growing. And now we hear that Harry was depressed “for two weeks”🤔. I am afraid I am of the opinion that they use poor mental health as a form of victimhood. That is not to say that I don’t think it possible they could have suffered from poor mental health at any time, I
just don’t think it was as and when they tell us it was
