Prince Carl of Sweden (currently 4th in line to the throne) studied graphic design in both Stockholm and the US, and has his own graphic design business not using any of his titles. He uses Carl Philip Bernadotte in a professional capacity, he also has a degree in agricultural management and he is also a military reserve officer.

Harry is a bit of a loser when it comes to any sort of achievement in his life, even his military career was terminated because he didn’t have the capacity to progress any further.

Interesting that this is Harry's gig & not Meghan's. Megahan could be quite good here as apart from the obvious being mixed race herself she is articulate & a good speaker.

Edited

I don't agree that she's a good speaker. Yes, she's superficially confident and has a pleasant speaking voice, but she never says anything of substance.

Also, she is in no way qualified to speak about race relations in Britain. She is American, and race relations there are completely different. She has only lived in Britain for a short time and showed very little interest in life outside her elite bubble. She has nothing to offer on this sensitive and complex topic.

I know we aren’t meant to discuss the children but as time goes on I get more and more sorry for Archie.
When I was growing up, my dad moved around for work and I went to 5 different primary schools and two secondary schools, it was difficult. I wasn’t bullied as such but just didn’t really fit in. One of the hardest was when we moved from Wales to Cumbria and I had a strong Welsh accent, which I lost very quickly!
I just can’t help feel sad for him and how challenging it must be on a day to day basis. I was lucky in that I had a very loving normal family to go home to every day, which I can’t help feel he doesn’t. I really hope they stay put for a while and Archie gets some normality.

It’s hard enough finding people who want to marry in at this point.

That might be because at this point there's no-one to marry!

The only member of the RF currently of an age to be married is Lady Louise, and she isn't a working royal.

His unique circumstances of birth mean he can’t get an ordinary job.

There are things he could have done, if he'd been willing to learn and put in the work. Princess Anne runs Gatcombe as a working estate.

For the life of me I don’t see what would be wrong in Harry continuing to do charity work and Meghan earning a living;

They were offered the opportunity to do precisely that, with M continuing her acting career. What they couldn't do was use their royal status for personal profit.

He choose not to in fairness. Harry was a good soldier but he in fairness in the real world he would have struggled and the options for him would have been a trade really...but thats me stretching because ai dont know if he has any talent. He wouldn't have been able to work in an office. The professions as such was probably not an option for him.

Watch the start - the children pause and wit for the GO command before heading off into the distance. At the end Lily seems to have got fed up and swerves left to go her own way.
Heart warming childhood moment it is not.

I look forward in the future to hearing that Lili has done that same manoeuvre in her family life…

I don’t understand why they don’t pick a couple of charities close to their hearts, and really focus on those ones?

charities like visits from the royals because it gets them positive coverage and increases their visibility. Visits from the sussexes attract derision and suspicion. So rather than their current scatter gun approach, they should really focus their efforts and be involved in a more meaningful way. They might then earn back some goodwill for themselves and do something positive for the charities.

being booed at the rugby must surely have made them realise. Once upon a time that would have been a natural set of supporters for PH.

Maybe his wife being suicidal was sufficient justification for him to give all of that up?

Edited

Why didn't he get her help, instead of telling her to get dressed and go to the Albert Hall?
Some husband.

If they don't get a rapturous welcome on Thursday, what then ?

It'll be William's fault. Or the RF. Or the British press. Or the security services. Or someone.

I’ve seen one documentary clip of Harry ‘soldiering’ with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, attempting to be Too Cool giving orders to his unimpressed looking platoon. I’m guessing he was a 1st or 2nd Lt although he might have been Captain at this point.

He was awful - deeply uninspiring and looked hungover and out of his depth reading from a piece of paper. And this was when he knew he was (with his agreement) being filmed. That was the same period when he was using racial slurs to address his fellow soldiers.

It’s hard to find this footage now.

Isn’t there also a persistent rumour on military talk boards that he evaded drugs tests in the army?

How were they not treated with flexibility?

For a start the Sandringham summit by all accounts was a fait accompli and not a proper discussion with only one version - the RF approved version - of documents prepared for signing.

And the SA tour was in reality quite gruelling when Meghan had only had Archie four months before. H&M had had quite a heavy schedule imposed upon them and Meghan had done well with it throughout her pregnancy with Archie. But the RF always make mistakes with incomers. They get little feedback or thanks from the monarch who is the person that matters. And that’s what led her to complain to Tom Bradby when he asked her how she doing, which was basically what lead to their downfall.

My personal theory is that if one senior member in the RF had bothered to ask Meghan that question themselves, I suspect this whole family feud wouldn’t have arisen and H&M wouldn’t have left.

It’s the government that set royal tours not the RF.

Trust pilot reviews are awful! Many 1 star reviews.

That’s interesting. Could be the Haterz? Any recent reviews?

Maybe I am clutching at straws but it says planned documentary and we all know that in HaM world lots of things are “ planned” but they don’t all come off !
I just cannot imagine why anyone serious would consider the known racist H a suitable person to offer an opinion on race issues .
Mind you I could say the same about grief , parenting , Ukraine etc !

As you rightly say, lovely, it's all "planned" and "sources", but I find it disturbing even to see it suggested that he'd collaborate with Doreen again, or she with him - especially on a difficult subject like racism

They've both discretited themselves hugely, and it's hard to imagine what good could come of this

Yes, and nobody was making Meghan go on the South Africa tour. Royals often visit countries without their spouse, especially when one of them has recently had a baby. In fact, I got the impression that the tour had been planned as a solo tour for Harry and she just tagged along. She had very few engagements, and stayed in Cape Town while Harry visited neighbouring countries. If she had preferred to stay in England with Archie, it would have made very little difference to the tour.

They were offered that tour, they accepted.
Their choice. I hate it when people moan about their own choices.

Well there’s a clue in Charles Spencer’s book, Swan Song, when Spencer states that Diana was not allowed to retain the family doctor that she had known and trusted since childhood, and was forced to consult the royal doctor. Maybe something similar happened to MM?

What? Meghan wasn't 'allowed' to retain her 'family doctor' from LA while living in England?

I presume she lived several hundred miles away from the family doctor?

Diana died a long time before this. Also, Charles Spencer doesn't necessarily tell the truth.
Harry had counselling. He was part of Heads Together, created with William and Kate. He had psychotherapist Julia Samuels on speed dial.
Meghan was booked in at the Portland, they could have arranged counselling and support.
All the blaming of the RF is total BS.
Harry's pregnant wife was suicidal and he did sweet FA and that is to his utter shame.

It's rutting season for the deer and they need that dog on a lead. And what the reck is in that pink backpack, is she yomping to Port Stanley or something?

It contains a pop-up lemonade 'As Ever' stall in case MM sees any prospective buyers on the horizon.....

We know that Diana got MH support when she was pregnant because it was in the Morton book. Her words.
Lying about a lot of stuff doesn't bother me, but lying about this is so toxic.
It's vile.

More like several thousand! And given Meghan had no trouble retaining her American PR people and had no issue with jetting off to NY for a pap walk product placement "baby shower", I don't get the impression she was passively being told that she could only see the 'royal doctor' whoever they are!

Yes, funny how Meghan was at the time seeing a Consultant and midwife at the Portland Hospital on a regular basis. They provide counselling as part of the package.
Harry couldn't contact them?
