Still interested, still not bored….a small request please 🙏…can we try to keep criticism to actions and behaviour and rather than getting personal.😁

Apologies ladies, I cannot link it but Maureen O'C's The Nerve latest podcast episode discusses Harry's latest nonsense. Hilarious

Can I ask a small favour? ….I have just popped back and see that Meghans awful outfit is still in discussion from the last thread and I personally think we can all agree it’s not a good look , however it isn’t the worst outfit she’s worn and it’s filling up the thread a tad , I’m sorry to be a wet blanket but I really have no interest in clothes.

Sorry. I hadn’t seen your post when I replied to another poster.

Can I ask where the line is drawn for going off track on the thread? Also, how many posters have to say they have no interest in something for it to be brought back on track? And if no one says anything is it ok for the post to be off track until something else pops up?

I still can’t believe that any sane person would look at Harry’s behaviour and thought….you know what…we need to get this chap to do a masterclass and pay him a hundred grand for it!!! 🙄

Without wishing to derail, last night I watched Mariska Hargitay's documentary "My Mom Jayne", about her mother Jayne Mansfield, who died in a car crash when Mariska was three (Mariska and her brothers were in the car). It's a really beautiful, moving, raw, honest and incredibly well-made film. There are parallels with Harry (and William), but I was most suprised by how much Mariska has been able to hold herself together with all the messes she's had to deal with in her life as well as the mixed feelings she had as a younger woman towards her mother - whom she has almost no memories of - and how she embarked on a journey to understand her mother.

I kept thinking as I was watching that Mariska must have had some amazing therapy to have dealt with the things she's had to deal with. I looked it up and she has massively educated herself on the subject.

She has said:

"On a personal note, I've also gone through my own journey of learning how to respond to the various traumas that I've experienced in my life. I lost my mother when I was three years old and I grew up in a house of people dealing with the tragedy in their own way. And because there was so much grief, there wasn't room to prioritize anyone," Hargitay told the audience.

"We didn't have the tools that we have now to metabolize and understand trauma, understand all the levels, understand that it goes in on the cellular level," she explained. "So it wasn't until much later in my life when I was able to do that for myself."

https://people.com/mariska-hargitay-shares-how-therapy-gave-me-my-life-back-after-trauma-8744662

I can't imagine Harry being able to talk about grief and trauma in such a way, yet he's projecting himself as a grief counsellor.

I didn't know she was Jayne Mansfield's daughter.

I have no issues with anything going of track twearking..which is why I only asked as a personal favour to me ….it was on the last thread and then here , I have been busy popping in and out because of things related to my last absence and noticed, I do really have no interest in clothes 🤷‍♀️, however posters are free to ignore me and I will happily scroll past if that is what everyone wants to discuss ❤️

So MM is wearing Boden, not RL? That's a bit of a publicity blunder, if so!

Oh cheez, MM is humble now, keep up 😉 ....she's wearing Boden just like an 'umble, regular, private-semi-royal-public- citizen would! (To Claridges)

Prince William and his sons rock the Ralph Lauren look.

I said a few pages babk it was obvious she’d seen the look and decided to patch it together with things she’d had or dupes from other stores.

Hi, it was a genuine query as I’m sometimes guilty of going of piste/being a haverin cuddy so I was just wondering about going forward.

This will never cease to amaze me. He's a dreadful public speaker. Totally self absorbed and quite frankly, it's dangerous to have him discuss such an important matter

Choux · 09/10/2026 10:51

From X. I don’t recognize when the other photo was taken so it could be AI but the poses are identical. Given Claridges is huge and much more private inside it seems like a total set up for publicity that they said goodbye on the street. If M organised this she made sure to get a shot just like the one with the lady in pink.

🤓 I've got my psychology A Level out again (brace yourselves, I'll be doing a HAMasterclass with PH next!)

That hand-on-back pose in body language is code for "I own this space" you see it in a State Leader (PM, President etc) when recieving another Head of State in No10, WH, etc. Its a power play and show of ownership of the process of walking through a space (I.e. usually to a conference or summit)

It's not sympathy as everyone's already noticed, the non verbals of which usually mirror the person speaking/the person on the receiving end of the sympathy.

I won't refer back to her hand-near-mouth "shocked sympathy" face because it giveth me the rage, but it's the stripey shirt one if anyone googles it.

For a £95 tea no less.

Wonder who paid.
Did she put it through Archewell as an expense?
Or do celebs get this sort of thing as a freebie, in return for the publicity it brings to the venue?

No it’s ok , I have moments of going off on tangents myself, although I have reigned in my excessive giff usage .

I think one of the pics where M is staring at Malala is scary..she looks rather hawk like and talk about invading one's space!

ChristmasHampered · 09/10/2026 13:11

Re: the street goodbye scene, not defending MM but with coffee dates (friends, not men!) I am known to say bye several times (the goodbye tour) and then final send offs are done at the car/bus stop.

But with MM idk. I know no one is watching me and the thousand-goodbye ritual but she thinks the Whole World is watching her, so 🤷‍♀️ it could be nothing, or it could be more of her silly antics

I gathered the police presence would be for Malala?

I'd wondered about that as well.

Maybe that will be Megxit's MO from now on then - only hooking up with people who themselves get police protection just so she can be photographed in the midst of that lovely security looking like the Very Important Person that she really is!

Edited to add - as for that theatrical "in the street for everyone to see" Goodbye with Malala......🙄

I'm glad to have that confirmed because I've been saying she's using the same hand on back dominance signal as politicians ever since she was first spotted using it. I wonder if anyone has ever told her to take her hand off them?

Weren't PH and MM supposed to have met up with GH and whatever her husband's name is when they first arrived in the UK? I'm sure I saw a headline about it. Match made in hell heaven - GH and MM - can you imagine?

Yes I saw remember that when they first arrived the Horners were supposed to be welcoming them to the Cotswolds! Geri must have been giving Meghan style tips also!

I’d wear the same outfit and make a fuss on the steps fondling a near stranger for a nice free cup of tea and a fancy piece.

I’d no doubt get the police presence doing that too.

Madam has laid down the gauntlet for all publicity being good publicity after all.

Yes! I really struggle to understand how Malala felt afternoon tea with Meghan in such a public place was a good idea.
As I read in another thread there is a side entrance for those who don't want to be seen leaving they could have used that?
