Still interested, still not bored….a small request please 🙏…can we try to keep criticism to actions and behaviour and rather than getting personal.😁

The comments below are absolutely BRUTAL, but this is Harry's first time sticking his head above the parapet since their return and he's just found out how the British people really feel about him.

No curated crowds this time, like at his charity events, rugby fans (or football, for that matter) are going to boo when they see someone who they consider a traitor to his family and his country. FAFO!

Harry booed by section of rugby fans on his first solo public outing

His enthusiasm, however, was not shared by everyone in attendance, with the 42-year-old greeted by boos from fans in the crowd when he appeared on the stadium's big screen.

Will they be flying back and forth on private jets I wonder and surely the cavalcade of cars should be electric?
I looked at the Travalyst website, didn't seem overly inspiring.

They definitely don't always fly biz jet, they've flown commercial several times in the last year or so, seems to depend on circumstances and whether anyone will pick up the tab...

As for the convoy....I've seen genuine well known IPPs travel with less cover than we saw in that video.

If it was M it looks highly performative.

occhiali · 09/10/2026 22:11

I daresay he was kicking himself for not bringing M so that he could convince himself the boos were for her.

If he's brought her the boos would've been 10x louder - the whole stadium would've joined in!

I saw a rumour on Twitter suggesting Meghan was drinking heavily at the lunch with Malala, enough to stumble into a wall on the way to the bathroom.

I take those type of posts with a big pinch of salt (not least because I can’t imagine Malala being a suitable companion for that), but I have to say Meghan does look very flushed in the face in the pictures outside Claridges - quite aside from the outfit she’s not looking her best.

Harry’s grief grifting - it’s just par for the course isn’t it. He’s absolutely insufferable, but what’s new there? I am amused that he got booed at the rugby - no doubt that will go into his dossier about how unsafe he is.

Quite funny that this summer there was the huge fuss about how Harry wouldn’t bring his family to London because it’s not safe without full police protection, and now it’s fine for Meghan to pop up there for a publicity stunt.

Ok I genuinely feel a wee bit bad for Harry re: his Eton mates. He was seen a while back randomly knocking on doors in London trying to find them.

It made me think then had MM isolated him from everyone? Not just RF but all his genuine BC connections*?

*Before Claw

Presumably no one had ever told him, and he'd been too much of a dim bulb to work out, that it's a BAD idea to marry a woman that none of your mates (and your DB) can't stand!

Who is the man in the photo with him? Is he security or a friend

AlwaysRightISwear · 10/10/2026 10:02

Going back to Montecito the stories about Perry selling it might give a new spin on why the HAMs moved back to the UK. If say they never owned it at all and TP needed the money for his legal bills? Just speculating...

occhiali · 10/10/2026 10:10

He was paid 100k dollars for that interview... surely he could donate his time for free if it's an issue so close to his heart..

You would think. Or you would hope.

And you would be thinking and hoping for a long long long time.

For a state school it'd probably be one week, varying by area but in a lot the last week of October. A fee paying school may take two weeks off, in which case it could be as soon as next weekend that that period starts. Personally I think it would be more confusing than helpful to whisk young kids back and forth between their previous and new homes, a very short time after the move, and with other disruption like school changes having happened. Much better to spend time doing child friendly activities in their new home - I'd be taking them to the local soft play, country park etc though of course SECURITY would be an issue 🙄

To say nothing of the jet lag. As the kids are in private they'll get the last two weeks of Oct off and two weeks is long enough to get back to the US time zone, then they get flown back here to start school again. We were in CA in August and it took me a week of feeling like a zombie and not being much use at work to get back to UK time. For two weeks, it's a very tiring trip, because of the huge time difference (-8 hours from the UK).

Apparently Andrea Pinchin, the CEO of Leicester Tigers. I don't think H has got many friends left in this country.

diddl · 10/10/2026 10:29

I have an idea that quite a few friends were mutual between H&W or children of friends of KC.

I think a lot will have gravitated to William.

BillyBites · 10/10/2026 10:38

Anyone else slightly concerned that that SUV convoy might indicate they've got their police security????

They were not police cars , just rentals.

I'm a bit out of date but based on what I've seen in the past it doesn't look like it to me...but I could well be wrong.

UncleColm · 10/10/2026 10:45

Just seen the convoy for Meghan - how wasteful. They could do easily have met in a quite country location. No need for a high profile city centre spot, except for Meghan's need to be seen.

BillyBites · 10/10/2026 10:45

I do hope so but I'm sure I read that they were unmarked police cars and had blue flashing lights on their number plates.

JoanChitty · 10/10/2026 10:46

Hmmm let’s see. Shall I be friends with Harry who married a women who hates his friends, isolated him and drove a wedge between family members admittedly with his collusion . Hates the country of his birth and wife who appears to be with him to further her own ambitions as she doesn’t have any talents of her own OR,William who is going to be King one day, powerful and well liked, a happy family life with his beloved wife who is very supportive ,never moans about his life, as far as we know, and has discreet in-laws and old friends. It’s
a tricky one!

Of course, William is going to be future King & George next in line so it is in their & their families best interests to gravitate to the discreet ,private Wales family.
Also the old chums & their families will simply have more in common with W&K & the kids now.

BillyBites · 10/10/2026 10:47

Friends of mine emigrated to Australia years back and one of their DC really didn't settle initially and was very homesick. They considered travelling back for a brief holiday but the perceived wisdom at the time was that that would be the worst thing to do but to stay and immerse totally in the new lifestyle.
Don't know whether that would still apply today?

Thank you, I was thinking he didn't look like any of Harry's old crew & hadn't seen him before! He was also drinking a pint which I doubt security personnel would do!

Harry’s probably made that easier for some of them by his flounce off and not keeping in touch. It's been said before that William and Charles are likely to be hurt by Harry's tales of 'no one helped me with my grief', but there may be friends in that position too, who have read these stories and thought 'right, so you've forgotten all about the long phone calls, visits to my house, weekends out to take your mind off things...might as well not have bothered...'

There was an overlap of friends such as Guy Pelly who was friends with both brothers though as those chums all grew up royal adjacent they would likely have been quite close to William too through Harry & shared social groups ...

The hypocrisy is astonishing they preach about saving the planet & yet have a convoy of suvs & fly by private jet!
Do what we say not what we do!
