Do Britons believe that Queen Elizabeth II upheld the promise she made to them in 1947 to serve them for her whole life?

If so, are they grateful to her?

Thanks for the patronising response.

What “service to the country” did Elizabeth actually do, apart from her family representing history and symbolism and shared identity? So basically her just existing as a part of her family was the “service”?

No - do some research on the British constitution and history. Pps can’t be typing out pages and pages for you.

Then read up on Elizabeth II if you want an answer to your question.

The OP isn’t about this - it’s about whether she fulfilled a promise to serve her country for her whole life.
