Palace are reported to be concerned about Catherine and Williams growing friendship with tom cruise. They are concerned about them being recruited into Scientology.

Now I hope, that there is no realistic chance that they could be recruited into Scientology. But even having a future king and queen who are sympathetic to scientologists could help this cult. I do believe that Tom Cruise is becoming very friendly to Catherine and William to benefit Scientology in whatever way he can.

I’m pretty sure the Palace are not in the least bit concerned that William and Catherine may be, shock horror acquainted with someone from a different religion, so what? The Palace were not remotely concerned that HMTLQ
was acquainted with TC so to suggest the Palace is now up in arms about W&C is pure fabrication.

It is false because you have no evidence. The Palace have said no such thing.

People might have taken the subject slightly more seriously if the original post hadn't linked to an unreliable Pakistan-based news-trawling site, quoting an author who has recently published a book about most of the Royal Family dying in a helicopter crash and Lilibet becoming Queen.

When you added to that the comment that the palace is 'concerned about them being recruited into Scientology', which is both ridiculous and not even what your link said, it's not surprising that people decided to have some fun.

No you haven't. The Mirror article you posted does not say at any point that Tom Cruise is asserting he has a close friends with W&C. The journalist who wrote it describes their relationship as a friendship, which is not the same thing at all.

Your link in your OP is not proof of anything either. This is a gossip columnist/former PA, Rob Shuter, claiming he has a source (no name or evidence of this source) who says they are concerned about Catherine having a friendship with Tom Cruise. What makes you think Rob Shuter is an authoritative or believable voice on the matter? This is the bloke who has arrived on the royal commentary circuit out of nowhere to plug his shitty books, and has just written a vile sounding fantasy novel where seemingly all the Waleses plus Harry and Archie are killed. Is that the sort of person you tend to believe in? Because if you do, you have a bigger problem than the Scientologists.
