Concerns about William and Catherine's friendship with Tom Cruise

Palace are reported to be concerned about Catherine and Williams growing friendship with tom cruise. They are concerned about them being recruited into Scientology.

Now I hope, that there is no realistic chance that they could be recruited into Scientology. But even having a future king and queen who are sympathetic to scientologists could help this cult. I do believe that Tom Cruise is becoming very friendly to Catherine and William to benefit Scientology in whatever way he can.

Well they quite clearly do count as royals, most particularly to our head of state who keeps them on the royal website as part of the royal family.

You are not the only poster on this thread, are you. Why shouldn’t posters point out other royal associations with individuals with controversial religious beliefs? It’s completely relevant to the question of whether anyone should be worried about Tom Cruise. Because it points to the fact that all royals associate with these types of people because of their life’s accomplishments and the benefits and influence these accomplishments may confer on a charity/cause/the state, not because they want to start worshipping at the alter of Xenu or whichever sky pixie they believe in.

And you claimed Harry considers himself a working Royal (read your post back) but does the Palace agree with this?

And some people are saying the relationship with TC is strictly a working one so I think whether you are a working Royal or not is relevant.

I don’t understand the faux angst on here (well I do actually, we all know the real reason behind this thread) so what if they were actually best buddies with TC? are we only allowed to be friends with people who think and believe exactly the same as ourselves? How ridiculous, I have friends of different faiths and beliefs, one of my besties is a bit of a flat earther! So what? Doesn’t mean I believe what she believes, we are still great friends.

No the palace don't to my knowledge accept that Harry is a working royal, even though he is on record saying he considers himself to be one because he's royal and he woks. But he is a royal and you said in your post complaining about derailment that he is not a royal.

Which palace? Who is saying this?

What its wrong with having a friendship with someone because they have a religious belief? Are you friends/colleagues with someone from a religion/different religion? Are you in danger of spontaneously converting to that religion due to spending a small number of hours with that person per year?

I think friendship is a two way thing.

Where is this interview? I watched the one where he talks about seeing them at the premiere and no, he doesn’t say that they’re friends.
