Only if we let them.

The big comeback is in play ladies

He wore uniform at the vigil for the late Queen .

Thanks for the clarification.

You can see the strain it took on the poor love though.

It's interesting that with the book being released posters are resorting to unflattering photos. It's as if the book isn't getting the traction they expected

The thread is very funny.

Not that there’s any excuse for using an elderly lady the way the Op did and I think in modern day terms they’d be described as having had their arse handed to them on a plate for their efforts.

It's no surprise though if he/they have moved back though is it?

Starryfifty · 18/09/2026 18:49

H does look a lot more comfortable than the awful US Cali outings. He should really get his head down, end the grievances and get stuck into Ingriftus. He'll still get funding from Pa so he doesn't actually have to earn a living as such

He sounds absolutely awful

I truly doubt CS's judgement on these issues. A couple of years ago CS published a photo of his parents with a caption about how beautiful and passionately in love they were.

The photo he chose to illustrate this just creeps me out - especially the hands around her neck and the dead eyes .....

Isn’t that his mother who his father beat in front of Diana?

What intrgriftus got to do with schools ?? I would have thought Paralympics much better to educate schools

They did it in Canada - trying to whip up school kids to pester their parents to buy tickets. But very few actually did.

Omg that’s a creepy picture. I always thought JS was a nice old man after seeing him walk Diana down the aisle. It turns he was a wife beater. Diana’s mother was very brave to leave him, given his status and the attitudes of those days.

BillyBites · 18/09/2026 19:30

Can anyone with armed forces connections confirm this one way or the other? I was under the impression that you do not salute a superior officer if they are not in uniform or wearing their cap?
And of course, Harry isn’t even a superior officer these days.

It’s so tedious. I hope this thread stays relatively free of it. They can gather on all the super interesting new or resurrected threads - Should Charles Abdicate?! Kate and the Middletons!, Support for the Monarchy Dwindling! Why Are H+M Hated in the UK?! etc etc 🥱

Some absolute nonsense being posted, and some nastiness too, directed at posters but also KC3 (“petulant, despicable”), Camilla (“terrified of him”), William (“indolent”) and Catherine (“a right bitch”).
H+M meanwhile are a well-meaning young couple doing their best to live a good life and be good parents.

I agree, @nonames and I genuinely think that the most unpleasant, hateful language on these threads is usually aimed not at Harry and Meghan, but at KC, QC, W and C. Of course there's a lot of ridicule for the Sussexes and I know I've occasionally been so annoyed at their antics that I've not minced my words (especially with regard to Harry), but that's usually in response to something they've explicitly done or said to court publicity. The working royals just seem to get on with it and get such spite aimed at them in the process. It's so nasty.

Can’t see anything new ‘on the slate’ just the tired old Ingriftus and Well-Child stuff that he is attempting to expand. Maybe the schools programme was something else that trigger the letter from KC - maybe PH was also bothering to Department of Education as well as the military and the NHS. But none of these activities are income generating (beyond expenses) for PH so either someone is paying his bills or he has shed loads of his own money.

Also MM will not be seen at any of these tired charity efforts - unless the coverage and energy picks up - it’s not glamorous enough for her.

I expect she is happy that he’s busy and happy as I think it’s her plan to drop him off back with his family and friends.

I agree too.

When I first looked at these boards, then I didn't really have any particular feeling for the RF or people around it.
The way the pro-HAM people behave made me look far more closely at the situation and realise what a plonker he was being.

There are various threads where I've noticed one side never puts forward any reasonable arguments and just insults the other side when they ask for evidence/rational thinking - Brexit, Trump, Lucy Letby, HAM among others.

I suspect that some if they aren't paid, have hidden agendas, because they all seem to take a similar approach with no evidence, insults and similar. On some I have definite suspicions of Russian or similar trying to undermine the UK - there definitely seems to be an inclination to both be rather ignorant about the UK, and/or address as Britishers or similar which I've never come across in the UK at all!

Their marriage in a nutshell. No wonder the poor woman bolted.

LifeIsTooShort247 · 18/09/2026 15:38

Instead of focusing on the fact he didn't answer the question whilst at the Invictus event lets focus on the fact they raised £1.7m which is hardly a disaster and actually think its pretty great to raise that much in a single night.

Well, you’re the one amplifying the fact that Harry didn’t answer the question about Uncle Spencer’s venal book.

She was only 18 when they married. She gave birth to 5 children in 9 years, including a baby who died. The pressure to produce a male heir was continuous. Poor woman.

I saw a documentary about her and she was heavily pressured to have more babies "for the good of the Earldom" and she was allowed little time to grieve the baby that died.

She was pregnant again only months later and Diana was born only 17 months after John died.

May be service dependent but as I recall it from a long long time back:

You only salute if you are wearing headress.

Senior officers got a salute regardless of whether they were wearing a hat or not (e.g. if in their staff car or if you went into their office).

Senior officers out of uniform, if recognised were saluted.

If H was saluted last night no idea why, there may be something really subtle tucked away in the relevant manuals that might explain it.

But ETA I've just seen comment elsewhere,.but can't confirm it, that members of the Royal Family get a salute..(I guess H still is, despite everything)
