She wouldn’t have had to relocate to the UK to take a role here surely. It was a nonsense story.

It’s all quite funny tbh. Looking forward to all the briefings from BP/Camilla and Billy Idle’s camp. They’re like a soap opera.

Are you in America? I like America. I think Meghan should be where she is wanted and extremely popular, so she has the whole world inside of her.

We could have some amusement in what role the Duchess of Sussex aka Meghan Markle could resume her acting career in.

I only take the smallest bit of interest but I find it quite surprising that Meghan thought her acting career could survive a stint in the British royal family. Yes, even after opting out.

She was never going to have a part.

It was just a story to release to the press that day, in the hope of distracting from the ANL costs story the same day (Harry and others having to pay massive costs for bringing a spurious and discredited legal action).

There's a reason why there have been so many distracting Harry and Meghan stories this week.

Actors work in different countries all the time. I assume it’s not that difficult to sort, if necessary.

She could work on a spinal visa no problem. My only question about that is did they apply in time to get it for the school start date?

I’m not sure that “literary” is the correct term here. From what I can see, she is basically just a gossip columnist and fashion/entertainment journalist. All credit to her though for making a career out of what many people now do online for free - it’s so utterly vacuous.

I don’t think the acting role was a thing ever. More made up nonsense to hide the real reason for their return: they have no money left.

It’s the subject matter that’s utterly vacuous. Fashion and entertainment 🤷🏼‍♂️. Her books include the “Diana Chronicles” and the “Vanity Fair Diaries.” I don’t think anyone is particularly impressed by an Oxford education or a CBE these days. Paula Vennells had both!

Meghan was never much of an actress anyway. Its a bit like watching Laurence Olivier - every part she plays is the same. Meghan playing Meghan. Just like in real life.
